  Welcome to Tangier! Jonny here and as a lifelong nomad with extensive experience across various fields – from teaching academic English to establishing hospitality ventures in different countries – I'm thrilled to be embarking on new projects here in the vibrant city of Tangier, Morocco. I'm looking for a proactive and friendly volunteer to join my small team and help manage and prepare beautiful properties.   Friends joining us will gain a truly immersive cultural experience in the vibrant city of Tangier, Morocco. They will:
  
  Experience Authentic Moroccan Life: Living within a traditional neighborhood, they will witness and participate in daily local life, understanding customs, traditions, and the rhythm of a Moroccan city firsthand.
  
  Develop Practical Skills: Beyond cultural immersion, they will gain valuable hands-on experience in hospitality management, learning the intricacies of preparing and maintaining the properties, guest relations, and online platform management. This offers a practical understanding of building a business from the ground up.
  
  Engage in Language Exchange: Opportunities will naturally arise to learn basic Moroccan Arabic phrases, or practice French and Spanish within the local community.
  
  Benefit from Direct Mentorship: Working alongside me, volunteers will have a unique opportunity to learn:
  
  Analytical thinking honed by years of diverse experience.
  
  Practical handyman skills for property upkeep.
  
  Insights into effective teaching and communication.
  
  Principles of Elite Physical Conditioning: Beyond theory, I can share invaluable insights into the principles of CrossFit, strength, and endurance training, honed through years of dedicated practice. For those keen to push their limits, I am also prepared to personally guide you through training sessions, right here in Tangier.
  
  Unique arcane and backwoods knowledge, insights not typically found in textbooks.

  Aide

  We are seeking one volunteer to assist with a variety of daily tasks across our properties.
  
  The primary responsibilities involve:
  
  Hospitality & Housekeeping: Assisting with general cleaning, maintenance, and guest welcoming for our active rentals and private residence in the Kasbah.
  
  Property Preparation: Helping to prepare a new rental listing in Marshan, which includes heavy cleaning, painting, organizing, and furniture rearrangement and a little fixing here and there.
  And, we are preparing two other different locations all in the same area. Located in the heat of Tangier; KASBAH and MARSHAN
  
  General Support: This may also include occasional basic home cooking, assisting with various online tasks (such as managing listings, preparing photos, responding to inquiries, and light social media), and running errands related to property needs.
  
  We value proactive individuals eager to contribute to a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our guests.

  Workawayer friend, you will be accommodated in a bed or if possible during your stay in your own little at our charming, four-room old house located in a labyrinthine neighborhood of Marshan. Despite its traditional, maze-like setting, our location is remarkably easy to find and offers convenient access to all essential amenities and the vibrant attractions Tangier has to offer.

  Tangier is a city brimming with history, culture, and vibrant life, offering a wealth of activities for your time off. You can immerse yourself in the labyrinthine alleys of the ancient Medina, explore the grand Kasbah, or enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the local markets and charming cafes. Iconic sights like the Caves of Hercules, Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the scenic beaches are all within easy reach. The city boasts a rich arts scene, numerous museums, and a diverse culinary landscape waiting to be explored.
  
  Getting around Tangier is convenient, with petit taxis readily available for short distances, and larger grand taxis for longer excursions. The properties themselves are within easy walking distance of essential amenities and local transport links.
  
  Beyond its attractions, Tangier is renowned for its exceptionally relaxed, liberal, and tolerant atmosphere concerning personal choices and individual lifestyles, offering a truly laid-back experience.
  
  Furthermore, having lived here for an extensive period, I have truly become a Tanjawi – a local of Tangier. This means I possess an intimate knowledge of the city's nuances, its hidden gems, and the authentic way of life. I am well-prepared to guide you in discovering a genuine expat and local experience within their individual budgets, ensuring they make the most of their time here.

  Yes, we can host digital nomads. We provide a strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection in our properties, essential for those working remotely. Volunteers will have access to comfortable spaces suitable for online work. In the Kasbah house, when available, you can enjoy your time on my private terrace watching the seagulls. Furthermore, a convenient coworking space is located just about 50 meters from where our volunteers will be staying.
