Hi, I’m Carole, a solo traveler since February 2024.
Every step of my journey has been filled with wonderful encounters and discoveries, made even more meaningful through volunteering.
Thanks to this way of traveling, I’ve had the chance to develop skills in hostel management and assisting at an equestrian center.

And I definitely hope to continue on this path.

I am a trained optician. The eyes no longer hold any secrets for me, but I doubt that those kinds of skills will be of much use to me here.
I'm good with my hands. I like to make, repair or restore objects. The latest being an old chair that I reupholstered.
I sew my own clothes and can repair sofa covers.
I have a certain ease with children.
I know how to cook and I am resourceful.
I love taking care of animals, whoever they are and whatever the task.
I adapt easily to different environments.
I am working on speaking English correctly.
