  Description

  I am an award-winning writer and filmmaker currently developing multiple film projects and expanding my creative team. At present, I am working on AI-generated videos and other creative projects, while preparing for my upcoming feature film, whose pre-production is scheduled to begin in January end.
  
  I am currently based near the Bay Area of Mumbai, where volunteers can join me and be part of the early creative process. As part of this journey, I am inviting enthusiastic volunteers to join us for a meaningful cultural and creative exchange centered around filmmaking.
  
  This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cinema, storytelling, AI video creation, and hands-on learning in an independent filmmaking environment.
  
  What We Are Looking For
  
  We are seeking dedicated volunteers to support our team in the following areas:
  
  Storytelling & Screenplay Feedback
  
  Contribute to story development, character arcs, script readings, research, and narrative structuring. Volunteers can participate in creative discussions, brainstorming sessions, and story workshops to help strengthen the emotional and thematic depth of the feature film.
  
  Photography & Videography Team
  
  Although we have hired a professional Director of Photography (DOP) and his team for the film, volunteers interested in cinematography and photography can assist the team as trainee assistants, gaining insight into the practical aspects of filmmaking.
  
  AI Video Creation & Creative Content
  
  Help develop AI-generated videos, edit them, experiment with creative visual concepts, and assist with showreels, visual references, storyboards, pitch decks, and presentations related to our film and other creative projects.
  
  Team Building & Creative Coordination
  
  Assist in fostering collaboration within the crew through creative discussions, rehearsals, group activities, and project coordination. The aim is to encourage teamwork, creative exchange, and a positive working environment during pre-production and, eventually, the filming process.
  
  Cultural Exchange & Travel
  
  Volunteers will have the opportunity to travel within India, particularly during the Rajasthan shoot and pre production, while engaging in a meaningful cultural and creative exchange. The experience emphasizes learning through collaboration, observing and participating in the filmmaking process, understanding regional culture, and gaining practical industry exposure.
  
  During project-related travel, we stay in general backpacker hostels or hotels. I will cover the agreed project-related expenses, including accommodation, food, and travel.
  
  About Me & Our Work
  I have previously worked as a Creative Associate for a TV production house, Associate Director for two big budget TV serials and as a Director’s Associate on an Amazon Mini feature film. I have also been involved in large-scale Bollywood productions with substantial budgets.
  My educational background includes:
  • Documentary Filmmaking at University College London
  • A Diploma in Filmmaking from Paris
  This blend of international education and on-ground industry experience creates a rich, mentorship-driven environment for learning and growth.

  A Note About the Team
  To ensure that every volunteer receives sufficient guidance and meaningful involvement in the creative process, I can accommodate a maximum of two volunteers at a time. We are particularly interested in people who are enthusiastic, collaborative, and willing to contribute to a creative project over a longer period.

  Aide

  Travellers will assist during the pre-production phase of an independent feature film. Tasks may include helping with storyboards, pitch decks and presentations, editing showreels, creative research, script feedback, and general production coordination. We welcome creative individuals who are interested in filmmaking and storytelling.

  There are some rules unfortunately, which are :
  
  1. Short stays are usually not suitable for this film project due to training, rehearsals, and production schedules. A minimum stay of 2 months is preferred.
