Hello, I am Dwight I am 33 years old Dominican man.
I live in my farm in front of the beautiful Layou River.
Since the hurricane Maria I decided to restart the building of my house from zero.
So now I raise animals and make grow food. And I think about evolving my farm by adding some activities like a surf camp, or camping for backpackers and welcoming the volouteers.

During there stay , volounteers gonna help me to take care of the garden , watering vegetables, create new plantation and feed the animals. I need help also to shape the land into a campground,, building some shelters to hang hamoc, building a traditional carribean outside kitchen. Any creatives idea from volounteers will be welcome !!!!

Volounteers gonna sleep in my house in a private room . My house is simple and comfortable. I have a little toilet . The bathroom is at the river in front of the house so you can swim in the same time that you wash youself ! I do also the laundry in the river it's very peacefull.
For the food I provide 2 meals a day, A big breakfast and a dinner.
With their time off, helpers can walk to the beach in front of the very charming Layou village (15 min walk). Layou is also famous for being an amazing surfspot in some special conditions.
Volounteers can explore the top of the river to found a hotspring pool and enjou this natural "jacuzzi" for hours its free !!!
In the week end you can go further hicking around , enjoy the beautiful waterfall of "Emerald pool" or going out in the capital Roseau or Porthmouth in the north.
