Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
In terms of sharing our culture, the workawayer will have the chance to go to the local pub, to see live music and table quizzes and other events. There are also 3 GAA pitches within a 10 min drive. The GAA is a central part of life in rural Ireland and we would be happy to take the workawayer to matches to see our traditional Irish sport.
There are weekly yoga classes and gym classes within a 10min drive that Maggie attends and would be happy to take you to.
We will provide learning opportunities on the farm in terms of animal care and animal husbandry. Jeremy has a lifetime of experience with dairy cows and is happy to train up and share his knowledge with a willing and enthusiastic worker who is keen to learn -

Aide
We are looking for help with feeding calves, milking cows and general farm duties. The busiest season is calving season which is Feb - April so most help is needed then. Usually the day is split into two shifts, 6am- 10am and 3pm -6pm. We are flexible in terms of rota and are happy to accommodate your travel plans or if you want to take time off to explore Ireland, just let us know and we will accommodate:).
A driving licence is essential as we have animals on outblocks that need daily checks. We provide accomodation in the form of a mobile home in the yard. -
