Description
We are a couple, restoring an old house.
We also do a lot of gardening, creating dry gardens all around the house.
We do all the work by ourselves. We know some techniques and also learn according to what we need.
We recently created a vegetable garden and are therefore able to eat our own vegetables during part of spring, summer, and beginning of autumn.

Learning from each other in a cultural and working exchange is very important for us.
We very much like sharing in all ways. Sharing our different experiences, cultural backgrounds, cooking…

We are in the process of restoring a large building made up of several parts, located in Belvezet, a small village 10 kilometers from Uzès.
The region is magnificent.
Our house is located in a hilly landscape alternating between forest and scrubland.
We carry out all the construction work by ourselves and would be very happy to welcome you to participate in this restoration.
The tasks are very varied and can include structural work, various small works, gardening and others.
We also have an organic vegetable garden.
Here we want to explain why we have a very bad feedback. We happened to welcome our first and only Workawayers in November 2022. A young girl. Despite doing everything we could to make her feel at home and pleasing her in many ways, she kept on waking up at noon most of the time and showed no interest and no willing in the tasks carried out at the time.
Since then, we have been on other platforms and hopefully, met wonderful volunteers. We never got a review under 5 stars, except from here...

Hébergement
At the moment, the accommodation is quite rudimentary.
We can offer you a room located in an independent building (see photo), but which has not been renovated. Everything is very raw but we have set a very comfortable 160 x 200 cm bed there.
The bathroom, located in the main building, is shabby but is functional and has a hot water tank. This is the bathroom that we ourselves use. It will therefore be shared.
We have to say that here, we spend a lot of time outside, when not restoring inside.

We have a « terrain de pétanque », where you can play or we can play together.
Around the house, you will find many paths for beautiful walks in nature.
