French speaker to help with language practice and some home projects in Asheville, NC, USA

  Description

  We are a family of four looking for cultural exchange and language exchange with native French speakers (females only please).
  
  We have a comfortable house with a private bedroom and bathroom in Asheville, NC. Asheville is a vibrant mountain city with a thriving art and food scene. There are also lots of opportunities for outdoor sports, such as hiking mountain, biking, kayaking, and rock climbing.
  
  It’s important for our workawayer to love children and enjoy healthy eating. We are omnivores except our adult (21 yrs) daughter who is pescatarian (eats fish but no meat).
  
  We have one cat and a small hypoallergenic dog (miniature poodle).
  
  With apologies to the wonderful and trustworthy men on this site, our daughter is most comfortable having females stay with us, so that is what we are looking for at this time.

  We are happy to share our beautiful city and American culture with you. We love to cook & share meals from around the world, especially Mexico, East Asia and South Asia. If you’re interested in gardening, I am happy to teach you about that too!

  Our main hope is for a chance to practice French, but would also appreciate help in the garden or house, meal preparation with our 8 year old daughter.

  Hébergement

  Private bedroom with double bed. Shared bathroom with tub & shower. We are happy to share food as part of the exchange. If there is anything special you want, you can come with me to the grocery store to buy it.

  Autres infos...

  Our home is in a convenient location and it is possible to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. It is quite hilly though and a car is necessary for grocery shopping and getting to nature because public transportation is not very good. However, we would be able to help with rides when it works for our schedule.
