  Description

  We are Agnes and Rob, and we run a luxury dog boarding and grooming studio from our home. We are usually very busy running the business, so from time to time we host Workawayers who help us in and around the house. Our home is a busy hub of dog lovers, where there’s always something happening and everyone is welcomed to share in daily life with us and the dogs.
  
  We have three dogs of our own: Frida (Collie) is our strong-willed and mad for walks. Antek (Jack Russel) loves the sun, and Matilda (Jack Russel) keeps the pack together on walks. In addition, we board up to 10 other dogs at any given time, both in the garden and in an extension of the house. If you genuinely love dogs, you will probably love it here.
  
  We are located about a 30-minute walk from Watergrasshill.

  Cork city is about half an hour away, and we’re happy to share tips on places to visit, eat, or explore. Agnes has run several businesses in Cork and can give you insider knowledge on the best local spots. Ireland’s landscapes are stunning, and we love seeing Workawayers take the chance to explore nearby trails, villages, and coasts when they have free time.
  
  Agnes is also a very good cook (former Ballymaloe chef) and, time permitting, may share a recipe or two.

  Aide

  We are currently looking for a Workawayer who can stay for up to one month.
  
  Tasks include:
  * Walking Frida once a day while Agnes is away ( great way to explore the area a bit )
  * Keeping the house clean and tidy
  
  The daily tasks usually take around 2–3 hours when done efficiently. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working at a normal household pace and can complete tasks independently. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the kitchen, washing windows and general household cleaning. You are expected to work 5 days a week. Days off are agreed in consultation with us at the beginning of each week.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own room with a desk, double bed, and wardrobe (see photos). The bathroom is shared.
  
  Breakfast (usually eggs) and dinner are provided. Lunch is DIY. Freshly home-baked cake may be available occasionally.
