Description
We are a family of 4 who bought an old schoolbuilding in the middle of the Norwegian wilderness - or you could also say in the middle of no-where. If you are very fed up with having lots of people around you all the time, this is the place to go.

Our situation has changed a little since we had a fire a while ago. Now our priority is to set up and rebuild the remaining house to live in. Which means there is a lot of constructing and building to be done, painting, maintanance. There are oppertunities to do forestry work, gardening... ... ...Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Aide
Tidy up, cleaning, painting and carpentry and possibly some help in the forest.
lots of manual tasks.
Usually we would say: varied types of help. We can find some tasks together that suits your skills and experience.
But right now we really need people who know what they are doing, preferably a carpenter, joiner, at least handyman :-)
We need a sitter and domestic help for our 2 girls (7 and 4). Someone who sees the work and owns it, since we will most likely both be working and the kindergarten is closed all July. Mary Poppins would be fine.
Sorry folks but we do not have the money and possibility to have vegans or vegetarians. Or you guys build me that desperately longed for greenhouse.Langues parlées

Situated by the biggest river in Norway (Glomma) in Østerdalen north of Elverum. Here are rich possibilities for fishing or river explorations (we have a kayakk). Plenty of forest and mountains if you are interested in hiking.
The biggest outdoor climbing site in hedemark county is located right nearby within walking distance.
The next town to the north is Koppang and to the south is Rena.
You can get here with a train from Oslo within 2 1/2 hours. Or take the bus (that's way cheaper, about 2,5h).
We have most equipment for outdoor stuff if you need to lend some.
