  Description

  We are a family of 3 looking for a kind and positive person who would enjoy experiencing Icelandic family life, nature, horses, and creativity with us. Help can include light household tasks, spending time with our 7-year-old son, and helping with daily life. We offer accommodation, meals, and a warm, respectful home environment where expectations and working hours are always planned together. We live in downtown Reykjavík but also spend time in the countryside with our horses

  We are mainly looking for help with light household tasks, spending time with our 7-year-old son, and helping with daily routines. We would also love help with outdoor activities, cooking, or creative projects if that interests you. We enjoy working together and creating a relaxed, respectful, and positive environment where expectations and schedules are planned together

  We speak Icelandic and English and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. We would love for our Workawayer to feel part of the family while sharing languages, experiences, and everyday Icelandic life with us

  Hébergement

  We offer a private room with a separate entrance and private bathroom in our home in downtown Reykjavík. 5 minutes walk to the downtown. We also spend time in the countryside with our horses, so there are opportunities to experience both city life and Icelandic nature
  
  Our Workawayers will join our shared meals and have full access to the kitchen and the food

  We live a somewhat unconventional and creative lifestyle, and our schedule can sometimes change depending on family life, projects, or events. Because of that, we really appreciate someone who is flexible, easygoing, and comfortable with a more dynamic day-to-day routine. Good communication and mutual respect are very important to us
