  Description

  We are a husband and wife couple with two wonderfully active children aged 7 and 11. We live on a small rural acreage nestled between the Rocky and Cariboo Mountains. We enjoy the outdoors gardening, quading, fishing, horse back riding. Once winter comes, we enjoy sledding and snow shoeing as well.
  
  Part of why we love living in McBride is the amazing scenery and fabulous people. The community is exceptionally welcoming to new folks!

  While staying with us, you would be able to enjoy the culture of a small community. Things are a little slower here compared to the big cities. Check out the many tourist destinations including the ones that aren’t on any tourist maps. We do have all needed amenities in town (within walking distance) and some fabulous coffee shops too.

  Aide

  In return for accommodation, we would ask for assistance with part time gardening, fence building, yard work, painting, or construction. The rest of the time, you can explore the wilderness, make new friends or hunker down in front of the fire place with a good book.
  Other assistance would include general household cleaning or food preparation (minimal unless you have a special interests in culinary skills).

  Hébergement

  While staying with us, you will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. There is also a living room space that would available for use as we don’t often use it. During meals, you can eat together with our family or separately, what ever you are most comfortable with. We also have a travel trailer for a more private space during the spring, summer and fall.
