  We’re creating a place where architecture meets the untamed beauty of Patagonia.
  
  Tucked away among native forests of coigües and myrtles on the shores of Lake Lonconao, near Futaleufú (12 km), our project combines small, designer lodges, landscape restoration, and a deep connection with nature.
  
  We believe that travel should be a slower, more mindful, and meaningful experience. That’s why every trail, footbridge, lookout, and cabin is carefully designed to blend into the surroundings, respecting the forest and highlighting the natural beauty of the place.
  
  We’re not just a place to stay. We’re a constantly evolving project where architecture, sustainable construction, craftsmanship, and the outdoors are all part of the same vision.
  
  We’re looking for people who enjoy building, creating, learning, and living in touch with nature. Depending on the season and the project’s needs, volunteers can participate in activities such as:
  
  Construction and carpentry.
  Landscaping and trail maintenance.
  Restoration of native forest.
  Maintenance and improvements to the cabins.
  Vegetable garden and landscaping.
  Photography, content creation, and social media.
  Support with hospitality tasks.

  Estamos creando un lugar donde la arquitectura se encuentra con la belleza salvaje de la Patagonia.
  
  Escondido entre bosques nativos de Coigües y arrayanes a orillas del Lago Lonconao, cerca de Futaleufú (12 km) , nuestro proyecto combina pequeños refugios de diseño, restauración del paisaje y una profunda conexión con la naturaleza.
  
  Creemos que viajar debe ser una experiencia más lenta, consciente y significativa. Por eso, cada sendero, pasarela, mirador y refugio se diseña cuidadosamente para integrarse al entorno, respetando el bosque y resaltando la belleza natural del lugar.
  
  No somos solo un alojamiento. Es un proyecto en constante evolución, donde la arquitectura, la construcción sustentable, el trabajo artesanal y la vida al aire libre forman parte de una misma visión.
  
  Buscamos personas que disfruten construir, crear, aprender y vivir en contacto con la naturaleza. Dependiendo de la temporada y de las necesidades del proyecto, los voluntarios pueden participar en actividades como:

  Paisajismo y senderos. (Infraestructura)
  Restauración de bosque nativo.
  Mantención y mejoras de las cabañas.
  Huerta y jardinería.
  Fotografía, creación de contenido y redes sociales.
  Apoyo en tareas de hospitalidad.
  Desarrollo general del proyecto.
  
  Para nosotros, los voluntarios no son sólo visitantes, sino parte de la historia, Compartimos conocimientos, experiencias y la oportunidad de participar en la creación de un lugar único en uno de los rincones más hermosos de la Patagonia.
  
  Aquí podrás disfrutar de lagos, montañas, bosques, ríos y una naturaleza extraordinaria. La zona de Futaleufú es reconocida mundialmente por sus paisajes, senderos, kayak, rafting y vida al aire libre.
  En los inicios de este proyecto fue construido gracias a la ayuda de muchos amigos y cercanos que viajaron de diferentes partes del mundo para realizar este proyecto. Este mismo espíritu de cooperación , de aprendizaje y comunidad es la columna vertebral que guía nuestra idea .

  We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience and Chilean culture and life in Patagonia.
  
  For international volunteers, this is also an excellent opportunity to practice and improve their Spanish in a real, everyday setting. Spanish is our primary language, and we enjoy helping those who want to learn or perfect it through daily conversations, shared meals, and project activities.
  
  In addition, we speak English and German, so communication is usually very smooth for travelers from different parts of the world. We love language exchange and are always interested in learning words, expressions, and customs from other cultures.
  We have two young children who also speak two languages and are constantly learning; interacting with people from different parts of the world is something they’re already used to sharing and experiencing.
  
  Outside of help hours, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the region. We’d be delighted to share recommendations for hiking, kayaking, fishing, rafting, day trips, and the most special spots in Futaleufú and the surrounding area.
  
  We also look forward to learning from our guests. One of the reasons we enjoy hosting volunteers is the chance to discover new ways of seeing the world, exchange travel experiences, explore other cultures, and build lasting international friendships.
  
  Aca is much more than just a place to stay. It’s a space to connect, learn, create, and be part of a community that values architecture, nature, and authentic experiences.
  
  We believe that the best cultural exchanges happen naturally: working together during the day, sharing a meal in the evening, practicing languages, and chatting around a campfire while sharing stories of Patagonia and the world.

  Nuestro proyecto se encuentra en un rincón único de la Patagonia chilena, a orillas del Lago Lonconao, donde la vida cotidiana está profundamente conectada con la naturaleza. Los voluntarios no solo participan en las actividades del proyecto, sino que también comparten comidas, conversaciones, experiencias al aire libre y la vida diaria en un entorno privilegiado rodeado de bosques, montañas y lagos.
  
  Para los voluntarios internacionales, es también una excelente oportunidad para practicar y mejorar el español en un entorno real y cotidiano. El español es nuestro idioma principal y nos gusta ayudar a quienes quieren aprenderlo o perfeccionarlo a través de conversaciones diarias, comidas compartidas y actividades del proyecto.
  
  Además, hablamos inglés y alemán, por lo que la comunicación suele ser muy fluida para viajeros de diferentes partes del mundo. Nos encanta el intercambio de idiomas y siempre estamos interesados en aprender palabras, expresiones y costumbres de otras culturas.
  Tenemos 2 niños pequeños que hablan también dos idiomas y están en constante aprendizaje, un intercambio con personas de diferentes partes del mundo es algo que ellos ya están acostumbrados a compartir y vivenciar.
  
  Fuera del horario de trabajo, existen muchas oportunidades para descubrir la región. Estaremos encantados de compartir recomendaciones sobre senderismo, kayak, pesca, rafting, excursiones y los lugares más especiales de Futaleufú y sus alrededores.
  
  También esperamos aprender de nuestros huéspedes. Una de las razones por las que disfrutamos recibir voluntarios es la posibilidad de conocer nuevas formas de ver el mundo, intercambiar experiencias de viaje, descubrir otras culturas y crear amistades internacionales duraderas.
  
  Aca es mucho más que un lugar donde alojarse. Es un espacio para conectar, aprender, crear y formar parte de una comunidad que valora la arquitectura, la naturaleza y las experiencias auténticas.
  
  Creemos que los mejores intercambios culturales ocurren de manera natural: trabajando juntos durante el día, compartiendo una comida por la noche, practicando idiomas y conversando alrededor de una fogata mientras compartimos historias de Patagonia y del mundo.

  Our project is located in a unique corner of Chilean Patagonia, on the shores of Lake Lonconao, where daily life is deeply connected to nature. Volunteers not only participate in project activities but also share meals, conversations, outdoor experiences, and daily life in a stunning setting surrounded by forests, mountains, and lakes.

  Aide

  Here, volunteers work alongside us as part of a small, collaborative, and constantly evolving project. We carry out most tasks together, which allows us to share knowledge, learn from one another, and enjoy the experience of living and building in the heart of Patagonia.
  
  Depending on the season and the project’s needs, activities may include building and maintaining trails, wooden walkways, docks, and overlooks; landscaping; restoring native forest; making improvements to the cabins; carpentry; painting; and general maintenance of the site.
  
  For those with creative interests, there are also opportunities to contribute in photography, video, content creation, social media, graphic design, architecture, and guest experience development.
  
  One of the most special aspects of participating is the chance to be part of creating a unique project that blends architecture and nature from its earliest stages. Many of the trails, lookouts, terraces, and outdoor spaces we help build will become a permanent part of the project.
  
  We enjoy working side by side with volunteers, sharing skills related to construction, design, landscaping, the outdoors, and the development of sustainable tourism projects. At the same time, we greatly value the experiences, knowledge, and ideas that each person brings to the table.
  
  More than just prior experience, we’re looking for people with a positive attitude, initiative, curiosity, respect for nature, and a desire to contribute to a project with a purpose.
  
  If you enjoy working outdoors, learning new things, building with your own hands, and living surrounded by lakes, forests, and mountains, we believe you’ll find it to be a very enriching experience.

  Aca los voluntarios trabajan junto a nosotros como parte de un proyecto pequeño, colaborativo y en constante evolución. La mayoría de las tareas las realizamos en conjunto, lo que nos permite compartir conocimientos, aprender unos de otros y disfrutar de la experiencia de vivir y construir en plena Patagonia.
  
  Dependiendo de la temporada y de las necesidades del proyecto, las actividades pueden incluir la construcción y mantención de senderos, pasarelas de madera, muelles, miradores, paisajismo, restauración de bosque nativo, mejoras en las cabañas, trabajos de carpintería, pintura y mantenimiento general del lugar.
  
  Para quienes tienen intereses creativos, también existen oportunidades para colaborar en fotografía, video, creación de contenido, redes sociales, diseño gráfico, arquitectura y desarrollo de la experiencia de los huéspedes.
  
  Uno de los aspectos más especiales de participar en es la posibilidad de formar parte de la creación de un proyecto único de arquitectura y naturaleza desde sus primeras etapas. Muchos de los senderos, miradores, terrazas y espacios exteriores que ayudemos a construir pasarán a formar parte permanente del proyecto.
  
  Nos gusta trabajar codo a codo con los voluntarios, compartiendo habilidades relacionadas con la construcción, el diseño, el paisajismo, la vida al aire libre y el desarrollo de proyectos turísticos sostenibles. Al mismo tiempo, valoramos enormemente las experiencias, conocimientos e ideas que cada persona aporta.
  
  Más que experiencia previa, buscamos personas con actitud positiva, iniciativa, curiosidad, respeto por la naturaleza y ganas de contribuir a un proyecto con propósito.
  
  Si disfrutas trabajar al aire libre, aprender cosas nuevas, construir con tus propias manos y vivir rodeado de lagos, bosques y montañas, creemos que encontrarás en una experiencia muy enriquecedora.

  We offer lodging in a small cabin specially designed to accommodate up to two guests, students, or staff members, located near the main house.
  
  It is a cozy shared retreat that blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings, nestled among the native forest and offering a beautiful view of Lake Lonconao. It is a peaceful space, ideal for resting after a day’s work, enjoying the scenery, reading, writing, or simply connecting with the nature of Patagonia.
  
  The cabin is equipped with beds, bedding, heating, electricity, and the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
  
  The showers and bathrooms are located in our main house, just a few meters from the cabin. It is the heart of the project, where we share much of our daily life, meals, conversations, and cultural exchanges.
  
  We provide the ingredients needed for daily meals and foster a communal atmosphere where we often cook and share meals together. We believe that the kitchen and the dining table are essential spaces for cultural exchange and for getting to know people from different parts of the world.
  We love collecting recipes from around the world and preparing them together. If you have a special recipe, please bring it so we can cook it here. If you also have a book you’d like to share with us, bring it along!
  
  We’re happy to accommodate special dietary needs, as long as we can plan for them in advance.

  Ofrecemos alojamiento en una pequeña cabaña especialmente diseñada para recibir a un máximo de dos huéspedes, estudiantes o colaboradores, cercana a la casa Principal
  
  Se trata de un refugio compartido, acogedor y completamente integrado al entorno natural, ubicado entre el bosque nativo y con una hermosa vista hacia nuestro Lago Lonconao. Es un espacio tranquilo, ideal para descansar después de una jornada de trabajo, disfrutar del paisaje, leer, escribir o simplemente conectar con la naturaleza de la Patagonia.
  
  La cabaña cuenta con camas, ropa de cama, calefacción, electricidad y las comodidades básicas necesarias para una estadía confortable.
  
  Las duchas y baños se encuentran en nuestra casa principal, ubicada a pocos metros de la cabaña. es el corazón del proyecto, donde compartimos gran parte de la vida diaria, las comidas, conversaciones e intercambios culturales.
  
  Proporcionamos los alimentos necesarios para las comidas diarias y fomentamos un ambiente de convivencia donde muchas veces cocinamos y compartimos juntos. Consideramos que la cocina y la mesa son espacios fundamentales para el intercambio cultural y para conocer personas de diferentes partes del mundo.

  Durante el tiempo libre, los voluntarios pueden disfrutar de numerosas actividades al aire libre, como senderismo, kayak, pesca, observación de aves, fotografía de naturaleza y exploración de los increíbles paisajes de la zona. Futaleufú también es famoso a nivel internacional por sus ríos de aguas turquesas, el rafting de clase mundial y sus innumerables oportunidades para disfrutar de la vida al aire libre.
  nos encontramos solo a 10 min de dutaleufú y a 15 min de la frontera con Argentina. existen salidas diarias a la ciudad de Esquel (Argentina) con buses locales.

  In their free time, volunteers can enjoy numerous outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, birdwatching, nature photography, and exploring the area’s incredible landscapes. Futaleufú is also internationally renowned for its turquoise rivers, world-class whitewater rafting, and countless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
  We’re located just 10 minutes from Futaleufú and 15 minutes from the border with Argentina. There are daily trips to the city of Esquel (Argentina) via local buses.
