  Description

  We are an happy family of four, we live in Bologna, North Italy, the most ancient University of Europe
  My name is Chiara I'm a mechanical Engineer, and my husband is Roberto, a Area Manager. We love travels, theatre, cinema.
  Elena is very responsible, always happy, she loves dogs (but we haven't pets), cats and horses.
  Sara is 8 years old, she is very funny, she loves dolls, coloring books, and painting.
  I practice photography, in particular I love black and white photos and I print the pictures with acid by myself
  We don't like commercial TV programs, we prefere Netflix series.
  
  I would like to spend some more words to describe the city in which we live.
  Bologna proposes many activities for students, it is the most ancient University of Europe
  We have a lot of theatres and cinema
  This city is warm and sunny, the people are very friendly, the food is amazing.
  It is very international because of University, we have two International University.
  
  Our home is about 15 minutes far (by bus) from the city center, in which you can find restaurants, pubs, and of course tourist attractions and downtown nightlife.
  We want to work together with you to ensure that you are happy with the duties you are carrying out, and that you are comfortable using and enjoying the facilities our home provides. If ever you are in doubt, please ask! You will find that we are reasonably well organised and try to keep things tidy as we go. We both work very hard.
  
  You'll have Saturday and Sundays completely free. So you can also spend the week end to visit Italy.
  We ask for a person who takes care about the two daughters 1 hour in the morning to prepare them for the school, and then in the afternoon from 3.30 p.m. until dinner, picking them up from the school and take them to the after school activities, by bus or by a short walk.
  The apartment is located into a park, shared with other apartments. The park is completed with outdoor toys, so it is possible to stay in the garden.
  We need your presence also during the days in which the children are ill (every year the flue arrives) and when the school is closed because of teacher's strikes.

  Bologna is very well connected by train and by bus to many cities like Milan (1 hour with fast train) Venice (1,5 hours), Florence (1 hour), Ravenna, and to the beach (Rimini and Riccione) So during the weekend you have time to explore Italy. Bologna is a very international city, rich of Erasmus students and international University. A Public Library and an International Cinema will enjoy your life, many theatres and cultural activities. You can find all information on the website of Bologna Welcome. We live quite near the city center, near our apartment there are many buses and not so far also a train station. We live in the middle of a park. It is possible also to rent a bike with an APP. Bologna is full of Bicycle lines.

  Aide

  We need yor help in the early morning at 7.30, to help to prepare Sara and take her to school at 8.20 (we live in the same street of the school, in 10 minutes by walk you'll get the school). And then we need your help in the afternoon from 3.30 p.m. to pick up Sara from school, take her or Elena to some extra activities. We need your help until dinner time ( 8.00 p.m. indicatively) from Monday to Friday. You'll have all weekend free. You'll have a lot of time in the morning to visit the city, and meet people. We are looking for a very responsible GIRL able to speak in english with our daughters. We ask you to help us in the house with some lights activities as clean the children room twice a week and laundry and washing dishing machine . We have a Madam who arrives once per week to clean all the house, so we don't ask you to clean the whole house.

  Hébergement

  You'll a have your own single room into our apartment, complete with TV, WIFI, Netflix, Air conditioner for summer period. There is also a table and a chair, so you can organize your little office. Our apartment has two bathrooms shared by all family members. The building is located in a beautiful public park all around. Usually we prepare the dinner for all , so you can enjoy a lot of italian food: spaghetti alla carbonara, lasagne, tortellini, pizza, roasts, fish grilled, grilled cheese with tomatos and olive. At lunch time you will be alone because we are in office and so you have to prepare the food by yourself (obviously we will provide yu the food) Only Elena will arrive at home at 1.30 p.m. and she is able to prepare pasta al ragù by herself.

  We have been hosting Au Pair Girls since 2,5 years, so we have experience on how to welcome foreign people. We will support you in the first days indicating you where are the bus stop, the train station and the city center. In your room you will find also some tousitic guides which will help you on discover the small beautiful cities of roman and renaissance period of our region, like Ravenna, Ferrara, Parma. We are looking for a very clean and responsible girl, ONLY FROM EU Countries. We have some rules in our family and we ask you to respect them, like to not invite nobody in the house when we are outside, don't smoke, don't exagerate with alcool (we can not accept a drunken girl with our children, but you can enjoy alcool without became drunken!) and be as much silent as possible when you'll came back at home during the night.
