  Description

  We are a family, Peter and Conny, both around 60 years old. We love life in nature.
  Our home is in the middle of Germany, on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Leipzig.
  Fields, forests and meadows are part of it.
  With the tram you can reach the center of the city in around 20 minutes,
  to take advantage of the many cultural offerings there.
  We can also provide you with a bicycle,
  so you can be in the center of the city in around 30 minutes.
  But the forest and lakes are not far away either.
  You can reach these by bike in around 15 minutes.
  We have 4 horses, 2 dogs, 3 sheep and 2 geese living with us.
  The horses are very sweet and are always happy when they can go for a walk or experience other nice things. Our 2 dogs are also very sweet and like to cuddle.

  Wir sind eine Familie, Peter und Conny, beide ca. 60 Jahre alt. Wir liebe das Leben in der Natur.
  Unser Zuhause liegt in der Mitte Deutschlands, am Rande der schönen Stadt Leipzig.
  Feld und Wald und Wiese gehören dazu.
  Mit der Tram kannst du in ca. 20 Minuten das Zentrum der Stadt erreichen,
  um dort die vielen kulturellen Angebote zu nutzen.
  Wir können dir auch ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung stellen,
  damit bist du in ca. 30 Minuten im Zentrum der Stadt.
  Aber auch der Wald und Seen sind nicht weit entfernt.
  Diese erreichst du mit dem Fahrrad in ca. 15 min.
  Mit uns leben 4 Pferde, 2 Hunde, 3 Schafe und 2 Gänse.
  Die Pferde sind sehr lieb und freuen sich immer, wenn sie spazieren gehen können oder andere schönen Sachen erleben können. Unsere 2 Hunde sind auch sehr lieb und kuscheln gern.

  You can learn a lot about nature, animals and culture during your stay. When dealing with the horses, you can discover the "language of horses" - non-verbal communication, which is based on trust and sensitivity. In a city like Leipzig, you also have the opportunity to experience cultural diversity, be it through museums, concerts or historical sights. By learning and deepening your language, you will experience how cultural exchange enriches everyone and makes your stay a holistic experience.

  Du kannst während des Aufenthaltes viel über Natur, Tiere und Kultur lernen.
  Beim Umgang mit den Pferden kannst du die "Sprache der Pferde" – die nonverbale Kommunikation, entdecken, die auf Vertrauen und Feinfühligkeit basiert. In einer Stadt wie Leipzig bietet sich zudem die Möglichkeit, die kulturelle Vielfalt zu erleben, sei es durch Museen, Konzerte oder historische Sehenswürdigkeiten. Durch das Erlernen und Vertiefen der Sprache wirst du erleben, wie kultureller Austausch alle bereichert und deinen Aufenthalt zu einer ganzheitlichen Erfahrung macht.

  We would like help with:
  • Animal care, e.g. giving the horses hay,
  keeping the stables and paddocks clean and making sure they are doing well.
  • Help around the house would be great
  • Support with general maintenance in the house and yard
  • If the weather permits, garden and landscape maintenance
  The work varies depending on the season and our current projects.
  It is important to us that you are motivated, open to new things and want to get involved.

  Wir wünschen uns Hilfe bei:
  • Tierbetreuung z.B. den Pferden Heu geben,
  Stall und Koppeln sauber halten und schauen, dass es ihnen gut geht.
  • Hilfe im Haus wäre toll
  • Unterstützung bei der allgemeinen Instandhaltung in Haus und Hof
  • wenn es das Wetter zulässt Garten- und Landschaftspflege
  Je nach Saison und unseren aktuellen Projekten variiert die Arbeit.
  Wichtig ist uns, dass du motiviert bist, offen für Neues und Lust hast, anzupacken.

  With us you can live in a cozy room in the house, or in an extra small garden house and have a great time.
  We love cooking, eating and chatting together.
  We want you to feel like part of the family and to help us with the care, maintenance and work around the animals and in the house. But at the same time you should also have enough time to explore the area.

  Bei uns kannst du in einem gemütlichem Zimmer im Haus wohnen, oder in einem extra kleinen Gartenhaus und eine schöne Zeit haben.
  Wir lieben es, gemeinsam zu kochen, zu essen und uns zu unterhalten.
  Wir möchten, dass du dich wie ein Teil der Familie fühlst und uns bei der Versorgung, Pflege und Arbeiten rund um die Tiere und im Haus unterstützt. Aber gleichzeitig sollst du auch genügend Zeit haben, die Umgebung zu erkunden.
