• 

  Description

  I live on a stunning rural farm in Tooborac, in Central Victoria.
  
  I collect, recycle and repurpose a lot of different materials, machines, woods and plastics. I also enjoy repairing cars, building and managing the land.
  
  I love the serenity and solitude of living on the land. I live in a peaceful area. I have two grown children who have moved and settled down in different areas but visit when they can.
  
  I am now in my 60's and would love the help of some fit workawayers to assist me with the management of the land and various hobby projects.

  Can provide an authentic Australian rural farm experience and atmosphere.
  We have a beautiful nature and a variety of natural wildlife living on the farm and you can see Kangaroos and a vast array of birdlife including eagles, cockatoos, magpies, galas, rosellas, willy wag tails, swallows, owls and more.
  
  We live 1k from a Natural state forest if you enjoy hikes
  
  We also have a large lake to swim in.
  
  You can expect to learn about rural living, general farm tasks and see Australian wildlife.

  Aide

  Farm work is physical, so after fit individuals.
  
  I would love the assistance in building and repairing fencing, on errands collecting and sorting through my recycled materials, assistance with general land, fire wood collection and general land maintenance, tree planting and gardening.
  
  Some days we will be working together and some tasks you will do by yourself.

  You will have your own private 3 bedroom house to stay.
  I live in a separate dwelling on the same property 500 meters away.
  
  The country cabin for workawayers has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, laundry and bathroom.
  The cabin also has a fireplace.
  
  You can enjoy your privacy and your own space and if other Workawayers are present you will have your own room.
  
  We will provide 3 meals a day.
  Workawayers will make their own breakfast & lunch with ingredients provided.
  We will eat together for Dinner and cook food in the workawayers kitchen together.
