Description
Hello!,
We are Linda and Philip,
We are seeking one (or two) people to help us.
Your primary responsibilities would be to look after our dogs (4) and cats (2) while we take short holidays but also to help us by clearing out a very overgrown polytunnel and preparing it for next year's growing season.
We sometimes foster dogs for a local rescue centre and get the dogs ready for their forever homes so there may be another dog here in October.
We would also like some help to keep the house clean and tidy.
The dates we particularly need someone is from the 9th October to 3rd November but there is some flexibility on these dates.

I have lots of cookery books and workawayers are encouraged to experiment in the kitchen!

We would also like to somebody to look after our animals. It would be wonderful if we could get some help cooking healthy vegetarian/vegan meals and just generally keeping the house clean and tidy

The accommodation consists of a room in our house with a double bed and en-suite bathroom.
Food is vegetarian and we do not allow smoking in the house.

Our animals absolutely adored her! Nothing was ever too much trouble for Alex and we knew that she would care for our animals and our home as we would when we went on holiday - as she did:)
We look forward to welcoming Alex back for her holidays!
Linda and Philip are excellent hosts and I felt as part of the family.
Both were very lovely , helpful and supportive and gave me lifts whenever I needed them.
The house is very nice and my room was amazing. It was very cosy and comfortable. My bathroom En - Suite was very modern with a lovely bathtub and a shower.

Our garden is also looking great again:)
They did so much more than we asked of them. They kept our house clean and tidy, fed the dogs, cats and hens, (and more importantly to us they loved our animals and were so kind to them). They cooked for us and gave us back our much neglected garden. I can't praise… read more
