  Hello :-)
  The Pilgrims on the Portuguese Costal St. James Way is looking for your help.
  
  We are situated in a beautiful old little town, Caminha.
  
  It is an old 3-floor townhouse from 1882.
  We're not a hotel chain or hospitality professionals in shiny uniforms. We simply enjoy welcoming people, sharing stories, solving problems, drinking coffee and helping pilgrims find their way.
  
  The Crew
  Two couples from Germany, England, Ireland and the United States somehow got the idea of running a pilgrim hostel in an old house in northern Portugal. Along the way, various lovely people from other countries have joined the adventure for a while...
  At this point we are a little short of hands again, so we are reaching out to find one or two responsible people, that don't mind to help us with cleaning, laundry and possibly some reception work.
  
  We offer very simple accommodation, also wifi, garden, kitchen.
  We are happy to agree on a payment option.

  You will meet many interesting international people who are walking on a beautiful way of spiritual heritage through Portuguese country side and nature. Every one in their very own way and with their very own story. I think it can be an interesting experience to get to know so many different ways and views of life.
  You will live in a beautiful little portuguese country town/village 2km from the Atlantic ocean.

  Aide

  We are looking for a kind, honest and practical person, who speaks english and a latin language.
  
  The work is making beds, cleaning, washing sheets etc in the morning from about 9h to 12h/12h30.
  There might be reception time.
  20-30h per week.
  And 2 days off per week as well.
  
  Work can be paid and a very basic room with shared bathroom is provided.
  
  Visa, work permit and insurance are your responsibility when you come to stay with us.

  Hébergement

  We have a room with a double bed for you, next to the reception on the ground floor.
  It is not the greatest room ever. It is not very quiet and also not specifically pretty. Its a good place to sleep, if you are not a light sleeper.
  
  Apart from your room, you have the entire house to hang out, including a little garden with hammock and sitting area.

  Autres infos...

  We have 2 dogs, who live with us in our house in Vila Nova de Cerveira 12km away, and who come to Caminha with us during the day.
  We can lend you a bike, and Caminha is pretty well connected with the local trains (cp.pt) and bus.

  We have a good wifi connection / but not much space to spread out.

  There are two friendly dogs in the house during most days, and as many people go in and out here, if you bring pets, they need to be friendly with people and other animals and understand that the pilgrims' beds are a no-go area, of course.
