  Description

  Hi, my name is Beatrice, I'm 28 years old and I live in Kiruna, Lapland, in the Swedish part of the country. I live with my 7-year-old cat, Mew Mew. I work as a chef in a Sami restaurant in a nearby village, and in my free time I love spending time with Mew. I love traveling to cold places, going to the mountains, reading fantasy books, and crocheting. I have a very simple life up here and try to stay active even in the completely dark winter months. This winter, I'd like to start an ice climbing course, fingers crossed. I moved here in March 2025 and for now, I've found a home in this remote northern town.
  
  
  Ciao, mi chiamo Beatrice ho 28 anni e vivo a Kiruna in Lapponia, nella parte svedese. Vivo con la mia gattina di 7 anni: Mew Mew.
  Lavoro in un ristorante Sami come chef in un villaggio poco distante e nel tempo libero amo passare il tempo con Mew, amo viaggiare in luoghi freddi, andare in montagna, leggere libri fantasy e fare l’uncinetto. Ho una vita molto semplice quassù e cerco di mantenermi attiva anche nei mesi invernali di buio completo.

  I live in a very special city, 200km above the Arctic Circle. Kiruna is famous for its mine, which you can visit. At night, between 1:15 and 18am, the house shakes from controlled tremors (don't worry, it's all safe!). We have everything in the area: supermarkets, bars, gyms, swimming pools, everything. From my house, from the balcony, and behind the building, if the sky is clear, you can see a beautiful Northern Lights. I'm far away (6km) from the new center, so there's less light pollution.
  
  Vivo in una città molto particolare, 200km sopra il circolo polare artico.
  Kiruna è famosa per la sua miniera che potrai visitare, di notte all’1:15/18 la casa trema per le scosse controllate di essa (niente paura ‘ tutto sicuro!!)
  
  Qui in zona abbiamo tutto, supermercati, locali, palestre, piscine, qualsiasi cosa.
  
  Da casa mia, dal balcone e dietro il palazzo se il cielo è ottimale potrai vedere una bellissima aurora boreale, mi trovo lontana (6km) dal nuovo centro e l’inquinamento luminoso è minore.

  I'm looking for an Italian woman (nothing personal) because I need to be able to express myself clearly so that everything is 100% clear. My cat is my whole life, and I only want the best for her. Anyone who owns animals will understand. I need someone to live with my cat while I'm away. You must take care of everything, nothing more. Mew Mew needs to be fed (three times a day), her water changed, her litter box cleaned every evening, and you need to spend some time with her during the day. She needs some exercise and play time to keep her from getting too bored. She's a sleepy cat and doesn't usually require much attention, but I've never been away from her for so long, and I don't want her to be too depressed. I'll prepare the food ahead of time, and it'll all be ready and portioned. Since it's about two weeks, I'd appreciate some basic housekeeping and cleaning. I don't expect you to clean the house, but since Mew lose a lot of hairs, I would like you to just vacuum, wash the dishes (I have a dishwasher) and keep the bathroom clean and tidy.
  
  Cerco una ragazza italiana (nulla di personale) perché ho bisogno di potermi esprimere in modo chiaro affinché sia tutto chiaro al 100% il tutto. Il mio gatto è tutta la mia vita e per lei cerco solo il meglio. Chi possiede animali mi potrà capire. Ho bisogno di una persona che viva a casa mia nel tempo in cui io sarò in viaggio. Deve prendersi cura di Mew Mew sotto agni aspetto, nulla di più.
  E’ necessario dare da mangiare a mew (3 volte al giorno) cambiare l’acqua, pulire la lettiera ogni sera, passare un po’ di tempo con lei durante il giorno, un po’ di attività fisica e gioco per non farla annoiare troppo. E’ una dormigliona e di solito non richiede troppe attenzioni ma non sono mai stata lontano da lei così tanto e non vorrei ne risentisse troppo.
  Il cibo lo preparerò in anticipo e sarà tutto pronto e porzionato.
  
  Siccome si tratta di circa 2 settimane avrei piacere che ci fosse una manutenzione e pulizia base della casa. Non mi aspetto che rassetti casa, ma essendo che spesso Mew perché peli vorrei che passassi giusto l’aspirapolvere, lavare i piatti (ho una lavastoviglie) e tenere il bagno pulito e in ordine

  Hébergement

  A private room with a large window, a desk, and storage space is available. Since I won't be home, all spaces are available except my bedroom. Mew usually sleeps on my bed or in the closet; like a good cat, she has all her favorite spots. However, I would appreciate it if the room wasn't used by anyone other than Mew. There's a video camera in the living room that doesn't record. It tracks the cat's movements when I'm away and sends me notifications. I work a lot of hours away from home, and every now and then I like to check in on what she's up to. There's a bathroom with a shower, but the tub is unfortunately broken. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils and appliances, and a private refrigerator. I have two, one is completely at your disposal. There is a washing machine (in the building opposite: this is how it works in Lapland) that you can use with a special badge. I will provide you with detergent and everything you need as well as an explanation on how to do it. Here in winter it is cold, but on the bus and in all the stores the temperature is comfortable, they are all heated. In any case, if you decide to accept, I will explain to you a little how it works, if necessary and we are of similar size, I can lend you a good coat and heavy boots if you plan on going out to see the Northern Lights!
  
  I've decided that this experience will be paid. Since I won't be home during your stay, I won't be able to provide the three meals. The payment for 1 week is €75.
  
  E' disponibile una camera privata con ampia finestra, una scrivania e spazio per i vestiti. Siccome non sarò in casa tutti gli spazi sono ovviamente disponibili eccetto la mia camera da letto.
  Mew solitamente dorme sul mio letto o dentro l’armadio, da bravo gatto ha tutti i suoi posticini preferiti, gradirei però che la stanza non venisse usata se non da Mew.
  In soggiorno è presente una video camera che NON registra, segue i movimenti del gatto quando non ci sono e mi manda le notifiche, lavoro molte ore fuori casa e ogni tanto mi piace controllare cosa sta combinando,
  
  E’ presente bagno con doccia, la vasca purtroppo e’ rotta. Cucina disponibile con tutti gli utensili ed elettrodomestici e frigo personale. Ne possiedo due, uno e’ completamente a tua disposizione
  E’ presente una lavatrice (nel palazzo di fronte: in Lapponia funziona così) che puoi usare tramite apposito badge
  Ti fornirò detersivo e tutto il necessario oltre ad una spiegazione su come fare
  
  Qui in inverno fa freddo, ma sul bus e nei locali si sta bene, sono tutte zone riscaldate
  In ogni caso se deciderai di accettare ti spiegherò un pochino come funziona, se necessario e abbiamo una taglia simile ti posso prestare un buon cappotto e scarponi pesanti se pensi di fare qualche uscita per vedere l’aurora boreale!

  In casa è presente la connessione Wi-Fi gratuita ed illimitata. Se hai un lavoro da remoto non ci sono problemi. C’è inoltre la Tv (ovviamente in svedese) ma puoi collegarti tramite Wi-Fi e guardare ciò che vuoi. Non accetto fumatori, no consumo di alcol in casa, no accesso ad estranei.
