Description
Hello! This is Yolanda the founder of the movement. It is an ecoproject which aim is to recover the land by keeping the natural biodiversity and being more conscious about the way the human lives in this world. We are an Anthroposophic farm so we follow the Biodynamic calendar for agriculture. During the past 15 years we have had many Workawayers and different projects like straw and clay building, composting, ecological veg garden, lavender oil extraction, honey extraction from our bees, reforestation... Now we keep some of these projects, but the main duties are maintenance of the place and we have two wood cabins that we rent through a rental platform. This way we get to share our place and people can get in touch with nature and a different kind of life.
Depending on the moment of the year the work in the fields change so if you come in summer time there will be some lavender picking with its amazing smell, or working in the veg garden or honey pickin. On the other hand if you come in winter, the job may be picking olives and oil making, wood cutting for the fireplace or making jam.
We are looking for someone that wants to do a long stay and take care of the daily duties of the farm. Walks in the red afternoon sunsets or watching the big eagle flying every day are just little examples of the amazing moments that you can experience in this beautiful place.
There are two big areas: The Temple and the Helios room that you can use to meditate, do a bit of yoga practice or any project you may be interested in bringing to the places. We love to learn new things.
If you feel like joining this kind of life you have to be a really flexible and peaceful person. It's important that you are willing to stay some time alone and enjoy this peacefulness.

I’m very glad I chose Yolanda’s eco farm as my first experience of workaway. The farm is lovely, the work is rewarding and everyone is very welcoming. Despite only staying for a short while I learnt a lot of new skills and had a very enjoyable time.

I could easily have stayed more than five weeks on the farm. It gave me a really comfortable tranquilidad because of the architecture, nature, people and animals. Alesandro was a part of the family he help us help in everything we need, from the veg garden, drive to the village, to cook as an italian chef...
He got such a calm and zen energy and we appreciate so much the way of he is always making the tasks with peace and joy!

This ecofarm is so interesting, they are developping lots of projects.
They have biodinamic garderns, chichens, horses, a house for courses and other one where they teach to children all about organic farming.
I stayed there for almost 3 months, I enjoyed so much my work in the farm and I could learn so much!!Thank you very much Yolanda!

I was happy to spend 2 weeks in Yolanda´s place.
The place is so beautifull and the work was a pleasure to do. It was nice to learn something about biodinamic farming here. The acomodation is really super. It is a beautifull project worth visiting.
I also really loved the puppies and the dogs!

In 2010, I spent more than seven months in the farm thanks to its family atmosphere. The place not only offered plenty of organic food but also the opportunity to learn quite a lot about biodynamic agriculture. Last but not least, I made new friends from all over the world.
