Pet and house sitting in picturesque Normandy, France

  Description

  Hi there,
  I live in a rural area in Normandy, north-west of France, with friendly horses, chicken and cats. The village nearby (walking distance) It is a very picturesque and lively, the seaside is 20 minutes away.
  The four-legged friends who need looking after are:
  3 retired racehorses : Mon Ami L’Ecossais (« my Scottish friend »!) is 10, Storm City is 7 and Minipuce is 4. They are extremely friendly and get on very well.
  2 cats: André and Cocaine (sorry about that one - she’s all white..), both came from a refuge and are very independent, roam free in the garden, come home at bedtime!
  3 chicken (unnamed!): could be mistaken for Labradors - just a friendly, loyal and enthusiastic, always willing to assist with any duty in the garden!

  Normandy is a very picturesque region & loaded with ancient (think Vikings, William The conqueror) and contemporary (D-Day landing beaches, military cemeteries and memorials) history
  The village nearby (walking distance) It is a very picturesque and lively, the seaside is 20 minutes away.
  Enjoy time with animals

  The cats & chicken need feeding on a daily basis - the horses look after themselves.
  No cat litter!

  Cosy bedroom & bathroom, meals can be shared or taken independently
  I am open to both house/pet sitting & help with maintaining the property + looking after the animals when I am at home. In the second case, I am very happy to share meals, and some ingredients will be home-grown (vegetables, fruits & eggs!).

  ANDRE

  Andre lived in this house long before I moved in and has remained its heart and soul

  

  COCAINE

  Cocaine was adopted from the local shelter and her age remains unknown. She had to have her ears amputed due to melanoma and I think she is the cutest thing on earth.

  

  MINIPUCE

  MINIPUCE is a bit of an oddity. Despite having now turned 4 and reached his adult height, he still looks very much like a yearling. He is unbroken, very cheeky and destined for equine assisted therapy.

  

  STORM CITY

  STORM CITY was my daily ride when I used to work as an exercise rider and is now enjoying a happy retirement

  MON AMI L'ECOSSAIS was a brillant performer on the racetrack and still shows his paddock mates a clean pair of heels whenever they decide for have a bit of a race...
