Description
We are a family run surf camp and surf school, Eco conscious, healthy living, our rustic surf house is small, exclusive, chilled relaxed spot. We are particularly looking for a surf instructor to come and help us with our surf camp by teaching surfing. We would preferably like a couple so that they can help us with the running of our surf camp. We are the only local surf camp in the area and have tons of local knowledge. Our surf camp is in a small seaside village of Pumula on the kzn South Coast, 1 hour south of Durban City.
Surrounded by bush and just a short 300m walk to the most beautiful beach.

Travellers will be able to experience living on the lush south coast, near the ocean, warm weather and warm water all year round, the surrounding areas are beautiful and there is many places to explore. Lots of hiking, swimming, surfing, snorkeling and more. there is a great live music venue not far from us, where you can see some amazing South African music and if you play / sing then you can join in. Come be a part of our lively family and experience our way of life.

We have a small rustic bush hut, double bed, private space for our volunteers. We also have a rustic cute little caravan for a single volunteer

The kzn south coast of south africa is a lush, green, warm stunning coastline, plenty of beaches, hiking, adventure tours, cultural tours, mangrove forest. Limited public transport, there is a camp vehicle for volunteers to use provided that they have a valid drivers license.
We are a family run small rustic, chilled out, relaxed vibe. We share our space with dogs and cats

Loved my stay at the surf camp! It felt like I was a part of the family and enjoyed many surfs, delicious home-cooked dinners, outings, beach days, movie nights with the girls and cuddles with the doggies. Unfortunately had to cut my stay short a bit, but definitely coming back for a visit in the future.

What an absolute pleasure it was to have Bella. We would highly recommend her, warm, bubbly and just the most loveliest person. We already miss her so much around the Surf House. This is the place to be! I would recomend it to any workaway as a place to volunteer or have an amazing holiday. It's a great spot for a one of visit or to use as a base to travel up and down the coast.

Michael came and helped us in December in our surf camp, and he was an asset and a pleasure to have around. Hard worker, super friendly and super helpful. Eager to learn and just an amazing person. He fast became a part of our family and is welcome to come back anytime.

What an absolute gem it is staying with the fam in Pumula. Spent a month surfing uncrowded waves, taking guests surfing, helping with building projects, jamming and relaxing in a beautiful enviromment surrounded by legends. Def have to get back to the south coast when I return to SA! Thanks again guys and wishing you all the best!
