ABOUT THE HOST *-
I am a South Asian woman living in Canada for past 7 years. I drive heavy vehicles for part of the year, and I travel and practice naturopathy and sylvotherapy for the rest of the year.
I write poems and short stories.
I like to go to community dance parties, sunset hikes and sunrise workouts.
I have a strong passion of experimenting with vegan and raw food!
This year, I've decided to take a break and do us on personal development.
** I have been a workawayer myself and I very much admire how beautifully some strangers become a significant part of the journey of our growth and can leave a lasting impression on our lives. I would love to experience the same as a host and give back to my travellers community<3
ABOUT THE PLACE *-
I found this place during my workaway travels and my heart decided to call it home. It's a VERY off grid place. I don't have a mobile network here, my neighbor has starlink that can be shared if required. The island is full of life ( Sheep, Deer, Trees, Frogs, Birds, Bees and beautiful humans.. AH! NO BEARS )
I live in a wood cabin on top of a greenhouse. It's the only nursery in the island You'll have your tent in the forest. If it's gets cold or uncomfortable in any form, you're always welcome to share my space, if we, both the parties feel comfortable. I have stayed in a tent there. I personally loved it.
** WE USE OUTHOUSE AND HAVE AN OPEN SHOWER**

** GO ON HIKES IN THE MIDDLE OF FOREST, EXPLORE THE CAVES, GO TO THE BEACHES
** JOIN THE COMMUNITY DANCE PARTIES. AN INTERNATIONAL DJ PLAYS THE MUSIC FOR US ON DANCE EVENINGS
** THERE'LL BE A SUMMER MARKET UNTIL AUGUST. YOU CAN TRY A LOT OF HOMEMADE FOOD, HOMEGROWN FOOD AND HANDMADE ARTIFACTS. AND YOU CAN SOCIALIZE AND MAKE FRIENDS FROM THE COMMUNITY THERE
** YOU CAN WATCH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS ON THE BEACHES HERE
THINGS YOU CAN NOT DO HERE **-
** NO CHEMICAL PRODUCTS CAN BE USED. SOAPS, SHAMPOO, MAKEUP ETCETERA. EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ECO FRIENDLY AND BIODEGRADABLE AS THE WATER DRAINS INTO THE GARDEN AND THE SEA.
** NO UNSUPERVISED BONFIRE
** NO DRUGS OR HEAVY DRINKING ON THE PROPERTY
** NO GUESTING UNTIL IT'S DISCUSSED AND APPROVED
** NO HUNTING
** NO DISRESPECT TOWARDS THE FOREST OR THE COMMUNITY WILL BE TOLERATED IN ANY FORM

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
I am honestly not looking to use workawayers as free labor. I have a purpose of being here.
*** I was in a very good shape and then life happened. I lost a lot of things. One of those were my health. I have worked on my mental health for past one year and have seen amazing results. Now I'm looking for gaining back my physical health. If you're into YOGA, CALISTHENICS PRACTITIONER, OR EVEN A PERSON WITH GOOD DISCIPLINE OF EXERCISE, I'd appreciate some help to get some motivation.
*** I'm planning to build a small forest gym for the community for kids and adults. Any experience with woodwork and building small projects would be very useful.
*** I'd need little bit of help in general task for an hour or two in cleaning, gardening, dishes and stuff (only if you've any hours left after your tasks).
*** If you've any experience with making a presence online on social media and understanding the algorithm, I'd love to learn that and get some tips.
If you speak Spanish, it'll be a bonus for me!! I'm looking forward to learning it.

I'm a vegetarian so I only buy vegetarian food (mostly vegan) We share food as a family. There's no rules. Get whatever you like from the pantry. I'd trust you with being respectful and generous
You're welcome to bring your own non veg groceries and cook if you'd like
Autres infos...
I do a lot of work exchange for the fresh and the yummiest fruits from the orchards. You can always join me for that and we can get a good amount of the juiciest apples, peaches, plums and berries.
We can also go for the wild berry hunting if you'd be here in the fall.
