Help with different projects around a farm life in harmony with animals in Feldkirchen Westerham, Germany

  Description

  I can only take German speaking people in August.
  
  I started my own project September 2017 at the farm of my father. I am doing animal assisted Therapy for children and kids.
  Therefor there are 2 Ponys, 2 sheeps, 2 donkey, 5 chickens and 1 dog at the farm.
  There are also deers which are living next to the house;)
  The farm is in a small beautiful valley where you can see the mountains and you are in munich in 35 min.
  
  Ich habe mittlerweile ein kleines Baby und kann daher keine Workawayer mehr in meiner Wohnung beherbergen. Es gibt jedoch ein Airbnb, das – wenn es frei ist – genutzt werden kann. Alternativ könnt ihr auch mit eigenem Bus oder Auto anreisen und unabhängig unterkommen.
  
  Wir essen gemeinsam zu Mittag. Frühstück und Abendessen organisiert ihr euch selbst, die Lebensmittel stelle ich euch aber gerne zur Verfügung. So seid ihr insgesamt etwas freier und unabhängiger.
  
  Da mich die Arbeit und mein Kind stark einspannen, habe ich leider weniger Zeit für gemeinsame Aktivitäten als früher. Trotzdem lebt und arbeitet ihr hier mit einer Gruppe von etwa 12 lieben und motivierten Menschen auf dem Hof, mit denen ihr jederzeit in Kontakt treten und euch austauschen könnt.

  I now have a small baby, so I’m no longer able to host Workawayers in my home. However, there is an Airbnb that can be used if it’s available. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to come with your own van or car and stay independently.
  
  We have lunch together, while you’ll take care of your own breakfast and dinner. I will provide the food, so you’ll have flexibility and independence.
  
  As my time is quite limited due to work and my child, I won’t be able to spend as much time with you as before. However, you’ll be part of a group of around 12 kind and motivated people living and working on the farm, and you’re always welcome to connect and engage with them.

  You can learn a lot about the animals and be close with them. I can show you some therapy methods. You can enjoy the beautiful nature and suroundings.
  I like creative people how like to work with their hands.
  We are a shared flat of three people from 24-32. So there is always people around, but the farm is big so there is always a place where you can be yourself if you prefer that.
  As I am just starting I have a lot of work so you should be indipendent and be able to enjoy the beautiful nature.
  There is a little lake on the farm where you can swim;)

  Aide

  I need people to help me clean the stable and do maintaining. You will also have the possibility to help with the animals and spend a lot of time with them.
  If you want you can also walk the dog.
  I need help with maintaining the whole farm, so weeding will be a part as well.
  If you know how to build wooden benches or shelf we have a big workshop with most of the Machines for that.
  I also want to paint some area with nice colours or creative stuff.
  You can walk with the dog if you want.
  
  
  You should like physical work and be in a fit health status

  Hébergement

  It will be a seperate room with 1-2 beds with a shower. But I only have 1 voluteer or couples at a time, so you will have the room for yourself. You will share the kitchen with us. I try to spend a lot of time with you but I also work a lot so you should be okay to be by yourself and entertain yourself. There is a lot of nice nature where you can do walks and little hikes and there are some cities nearby.

  I have worked as a volunteer a lot so I try to learn from my experience to be a good host:)
  I am a vegetarian and provide vegetarian/ vegan food but my roommates are not and my father also cooks for us with meat, so you have every possibility. There are more people living at the farm but are not connected as a community.

  Most of the time it is not possible to take someone with a dog. Sometimes it might be possible but only male ones, as my female dog doesn`t like other female dogs living here.
