  Description

  We live in a very beautiful place by the river. It is the longest river in Latvia - Gauja. Our house is located in the city, but we feel like in the countryside. Watching the changes in nature are the most wonderful moments in everyday life. Nature enters the yard - we take care of birds in winter, feed deer when they enter the yard. Sometimes you can watch the northern lights near us (but this is not often).
  
  My days are filled with interesting activities - I paint, draw, embroider jewelry, felt, take care of my flower garden and small greenhouse with tomatoes and cucumbers. I like ice baths, Nordic walking and walks in the forest.
  The husband works as an electrician in his own company. His hobby is fishing.
  
  We are a normal family - me, my husband and two adult daughters (living independently) and three cats. The neighbor's cats come to us and we feed them too.
  We like Sunday excursions and walks, but sometimes we work a lot. On Saturday mornings we drink coffee in a cafe in the city center.
  
  We live in a small town with beautiful places and an old castle. There are many walking trails in the area. The city center has a concert hall, cinema, exhibition hall, museum and cafes.

  The city has a cinema and concert hall, exhibition halls, a museum, souvenir shops and cafes.
  Joint walks in the surrounding area are possible.
  
  In your free time, you can listen to birdsong, observe different weather conditions, read, meditate, or enjoy the moment. That's also culture.

  Aide

  We would like to speak English to learn the language.
  
  I would love to work together on various art projects - eco-printing, felting and other textile art projects. I would like to meet like-minded, creative people and create an exhibition together. It could be in two or three years if our collaboration goes well. The project is non-commercial.
  
  I have a lot of creative ideas, and it would be interesting to do it together. Of course, I will also listen to your thoughts and ideas.
  
  If you know how to sew, you can help me with sewing projects.

  Hébergement

  Living room on the garden side of the house with a separate entrance.
  The room where the Workaway friend will live and sleep is private only for the guest. It has a sofa that can be converted into a bed. Of course, bed linen and towels will be available. The room has a table and chairs, clothes rack. The shower and toilet will be for the guest only.
