Stephanie, Joy, and Shana were an absolute joy to stay with! I spent one small week hanging out with them and working on all the cool projects but it felt like I could have stayed there for so much longer! From project ideas and problem solving the building projects with Stephanie, to learning and sharing knowledge on naturopathy and reflexology
… read more with Joy, to hanging out and talking with Shana - I has so much fun and immediately felt like part of the family. If you like puppies and farm life then this place is for you. And if you are a builder, then this place is definietly for you - there were so many cool creative projects that I got to work on!
I would 100% come back in the future! Thank you for such a wonderful week Stephanie, Joy, and Shana!

… read more infuse in you the desire to get better. I would like to thank her for putting her best efforts in teaching me more about Holy Scriptures, she is really talented in it. Behind @Joy's silence are hidden many hours of dedication to study. I would like to thank her for using her medical knowledge and insight on my specific case and giving me some useful advices and teaching me healthy daily practices. My stay wouldn't have been the same without @Alishia and @Shana. Thanks for all the activities we did togheter: we did paddling at sunset at the lake several times; we trained the two horses; we did evening karaoke and dances; we saw films before going bed; we went for bike rides; we shared some meals; we had table games time; we climbed a tree; we had shopping time; we visited Eutin, Lübeck and Hamburg. @Alishia is such a diligent person, she works, studies, helps her family, cooks, makes cleanings and manages to find the time for herself. She can be so engaging that she could even make a stone talk. She is a complete planner, she is always organized and she helps others to be the same. If you have always dreamed of meeting a princess, it is because you have not yet met @Shana. She is always kind with everyone and she often shows her gentle smile. I would like to thank her for teaching me how to play piano.

The work was mainly concerned with painting, gardening and taking care of the animals.

i spent 2 lovely weeks at this small farm in bosau. it was my first experience on workaway and the communication before my arrival was very uncomplicated and we arranged my stay spontaneously.
i really enjoyed the help i could do there (mucking out the horses, painting, cleaning their cosy outdoor accommodation and, my highlight, taking care of
… read more one of their dogs-very rewarding cause he was just so cute and nice). i had my own small flat but could aswell hang up my camping hangmock in their garden.
i had very special experiences like swimming with one of the horses in the lake or digging up potatoes for our shared dinner, which itself was so much fun. i also enjoyed the company of shana, alishia and joy. we shared some meals and watched movies together. i admire how they take care of their beautiful place and i wish them all the best! 🤍🤍Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

This place was great, I would highly recommend a visit. I spent 5 pleasant days here doing carpentry and odd jobs in July 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed it. … read more very comfortable. I helped care for animals and built a porch roof and horse enclosure and we went to the lumber store together to get materials, and stopped at a grocery store where Stephanie made sure I had the items I needed.
The family was a pleasure to work with. Stephanie let me drive their van to the nearby town Schonmoor where my great, great grandfather was born, and one of her daughters came along to act as translator, which helped a lot since I barely speak German. Thanks to her help, we were able to talk to the townspeople and locate my family's ancestral home from the 1800s. A bicycle was available and in my off hours I rode it down to the nearby lake and towns to explore the area. Stephanie was very flexible, patient and kind, and her family was as curious about my background as I was about theirs. On the last day I helped drive her horse trailer halfway across Germany which helped her get some rest while I drove, and also saved me money on train fare. I had a really great experience in this beautifull place, I've never live in a House with animals like a Farm, and for me learn about take care of the animals was something great and new in my life.
Stephanie and her daughters are very nice persons, I have all that I need, accommodation and food, use the Bicycle and Stephanie borrowed me her van
… read more to go to the grocery store and one of the nearby towns.
I've been in the beach near the house (Bosau Beach club)
Plön and Eutin, nice towns.
Sincerely I recommend you come here, live the experience and enjoy with this family, the animals and the incredible sunset in the lake.

And my experience if you go on your own to this place, my recommendation is go directly in train to Plön and there take the bus 960, this bus have a price €5,80 and have stop 2 squares near to the house, because in Eutin is not easy to take Something to go to the House.

Karolina and Marie were easy going and fun people to be with! It was a wonderful experimence hosting them! They did a good job in caring for the animals, watering the plants and cleaning holiday flats.
