Description
I'll hope you could help me to renovating my old house (1753) this year and I need help, in building, gardening, meal preparation, painting, artist painting also, or something we'll find usefull. I live in a little village near the forest. I am a native-born Belgian who has lived in France since 2011. I have green house but my garden is always plenty of weeds.
I like folk couple dancing.
I ama father of 3 boys (29, 27, and 25 years old). They live in Belgium and occasionally in the Vosges in my home.
I experienced workaway life as a worker in Scotland in July 2018.
I make sometimes my bread. I have my own source of pure water.
I am a member of an association that maintains an old saw mill.
In order to show you how it works, I would demonstrate it to you by cutting 1 wooden board.

I am Belgian and I chose a few years ago to live in this beautiful region where lovers of natural sitescan walk in the forest and will be satisfied.

You will stay in one of my 2 free bedroom ; it is clean and ready for you, no work involved! But if you prefer to climb in a tent, a meadow awaits you.
The bathroom is already finished.
Two bedrooms, the kitchen is nearly finished.

I try to I grow vegetables through a greenhouse made with big branches of hazel and next door, a vegetable garden (cabbages, salads) and all that I sow: carrots, potatoes. But because of the work inside and the weather this summer, not a good harvest.
the railway station of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is not far from my house. I can fetch you there, or if you have your own car, it is a 10 minute drive. You can take a bus or train to Nancy or Strasbourg, and from there it is an hour ride to Saint-Die-des-Vosges, very easy.

She was very funny and a good worker too. She mainly helped with workng on wood planks and painted the kitchen cupboard. She helped to make delicious meal. With the other host she prepared a wonderful Christmas party before Christmas. It was fun and laugh.

I stayed for one week with Guy. We did some maintenance work, we worked in his garden and i did some hikes and bike rides in the area with his son Francois who was there at the same time.
It was a very plasant experience and I hope to visit Guy soon and help him some more :)

Such a very good experiment with Malvin and Hasiq.
They are very good guys, with a lot of humour. But they can work very hard even if the work is a little bit painful (nettles). They cooked me very fine meal of their country, spicy and very nice.

My first workaway couldn't have been better! Guy is a very coo guy and a great cook. I stayed with him for two weeks, helping him around the house. He helped me practice French and taught me how to play 421 and to bake bread. I had a really great time and hope to visit again some day.

I had the greatest time at Guy´s place, I think we could manage to get along really well and to get some work done around the house. He left me do tasks that I enjoyed and also he showed me around Mandray. I practiced a lot of French and gained around 5 kilos because he makes great bread haha. Merci pour tout! Á bientôt!

Sheila est une personne qui s'investi dans le travail qu'on lui a donné, elle prends aussi de bonnes initiatives. Elle parle un français correct et est très facile à comprendre. Elle s'adapte facilement aux conditions de vie qu'il y a dans une maison en travaux. (la poussière, le nettoyage, parfois le froid).

My boyfriend Jori and I stayed with Guy for 10 days and had a wonderful time! There were bicycles for us to use in our free time and beautiful surroundings easy to acces. Guy was accommodating and kind. There was always plenty to do for everyone, and the food was great!
