    Description

We have created a co-owned land project on the Olympic Peninsula and are working to create the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. We are a community devoted to the co-creation of culture and environment that supports the healing of our relationships to self, each other, and the more-than-human world.

We have 15 beautiful acres, with lots of beautiful trees, a diverse and full garden, countless berries, wetlands, and a year-round stream. We have walking access to many miles of trails to a nearby Lake.

A typical day here for us includes watering the garden, and tending to one of the many ongoing projects, such as trail building, tree planting, tree limbing, working on one of the building projects, community meetings and workdays, singing, and sharing meals together whenever we can.

We speak mostly English and a couple of us speak Spanish as well. We can teach about the unique culture and plants in this region.

We live amongst a very rich network and community of individuals offering music, healing, dance, ritual, workshops, ancestral skills shares, multi-day gatherings, grief ceremonies, and ceremonies of many different kinds. We hold one big retreat on the land every year where 150 men gather to foster healing and connection.

We are seeking fellow earth tenders and builders. Humans who want to work with and connect to the land and connect with each other.

We can teach about land management, natural building techniques like light-straw clay and natural plaster, carpentry as well as herbalism, essential oil and hydrosol production and much more! Of course you will also experience what it's like to live on shared land with others, and how to navigate decision and co-living. You will work closely with one of our community members to tend to the land and community and help create work-parties. Here you will learn about eating and making a living from the land in this region and caring for the unique habitat of the Pacific Northwest!
