fully organic quinta accepting meat eaters only
Looking for at least 2 helpers friends/couple who will share a double bed in a private yurt with attached toilet. share the work which will include olive picking, wood collecting, animal care, digging holes for trees and whitewashing
We are looking for OLIVE PICKERS this is work in the sunshine we provide gloves and tools but you will need layers of clothes as it’s cool in the shade but can be hot in the sunshine
Then we are looking for help with a variety of tasks none of which we wouldn't be prepared to do ourselves if we had the time, all meals and snacks provided and a friendly local bar you can cycle to for your wine which is only 30c a glass
Looking for two olive pickers it’s work in the sunshine 🌞 as we don’t pick olives when it rains ideally a couple as our yurt has a double bed
also looking for people before olive picking starts to make raised beds in our organic vegetable garden we provide all the materials we just need the help to build the beds.

I had my first workaway experience here and am super glad I found this family! :)
We were 3 volunteers and did olive picking for about one week. After the harvest was finished we brought the olives to the press where we could see the whole process of making the oil, which we could later bottle ourselfs.

We´ve spent four weeks with Sarah and Vladimir. We slept in a nice cozy room with a wooden-oven. The food was plenty and good. We enjoyed the variety of things to do, from picking olives to painting furnitures. They took us to several places, for example a local party and a castle. We recommend this place to any Workawayer.

Chantelle and Kevin stayed with us for two months and did A LOT of whitewashing, shredding, composting, improving the land by burning and making terra preta as well as all the washing up/dishes and loads of deep cleaning and treating outdoor furniture ready for summer

We will miss Julia who is a lovely person and a great helper she trimmed the bottom of our 222 olive trees with an axe and machete and then did the neighbors by accident too! I doubt he will be complaining!!

We really enjoyed our week there. The cosy cottage is in the middle of the forest with a view on a beautiful landscape.
