Denis and Juan, are wonderful, friendly and generous people. They were an absolute pleasure to have stay with us, their positive energy was inspiring and so great to have in our home plus their fabulous cooking skills, and great conversation.
Juan and I loved our time in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley with Kerrie and Hugh. In our week with these fabulous and generous hosts, we chopped wood, worked in the veggie garden, mulched trees and harvested fruit and honey. We also enjoyed sharing food and stories. Our stay in the Wild Wood with Kerrie and Hugh was extremely special.
During our stay we had some unforgettable wildlife encounters with highlights being wombats, reptiles and echidnas! We loved talking to Kerrie and Hugh about the amazing animals they share their home with and shared our passion in caring for wildlife.

The work we helped with during our stay was very enjoyable and presented us with many opportunities to learn new things.
We instantly felt at home and comfortable staying with Kerrie, Hugh, little Mitsy and lovely Gilly! We spent 12 great days in Kerrie and Hugh's property in Kangaroo Valley. They are really kind and made us feel at home from the beginning. This was my first workaway experience and I couldn't be happier about it. Their location is absolutely stunning and peaceful and I enjoyed the walks we did in the nature with Hugh explaining me about the trees and animals. … read more one day by extracting the honey from their hive. Apart from that we were watching movies together, spending some time with friends of the family, exploring places nearby and enjoying Kerrie's great food.
Never will I forget those conversations I had with Hugh, Kerrie and Anton. It's already some months ago but still I am so grateful for getting to know such beautiful souls and thinking very often of them.
Hope we can see each other again one day :)

We enjoyed our time with Kerrie and Hugh working at their beautiful home in Kangaroo Valley. We spent a few days painting a new set studio which we enjoyed doing. Good fun playing with the dogs and some good chats with Kerrie and Hugh over a meal. Highly recommend!
