Namaste, thank you for reading my profile.
My amazing Finca is set in the lush green surroundings of As Eiras, O Rosal, Galicia, Spain, only 5 minute walk to the Mino, the river that divides Portugal and Spain with a beautiful river beach and miles of woodlands and trails.
I moved her with my young son in September 2022.
The Finca is also very close to the Camino so if your planning to do the Pilgrim to Santiago De Compostela this could be a great stop on the way, before or after...
I am SO keen to speak Spanish fluently.... so a bonus if you could practice with me.
I relocated from Goa where I lived for 15 years, teaching various retreats, workshops and classes in yoga & meditation. I have over 20 years of experience and love to teach if your interested in learning some transformational practices..
I like to cook Indian food, recipes that my mother taught me.
Being in nature is our happiness and the surrounding areas are GREAT for walking, running, cycling and swimming.
It's a haven for those who love to be outdoors in nature.
My Finca has a large garden approx 4000sq with lots of potential and I need help with.
I wish to create some meditation/relaxation spots, natural mandalas or any other ideas you may have?
I had a vision recently to create a space for children to play, climb, do assault courses with tracks so if your creative and would enjoy a project like this, please do share with me...
I also need help transforming 2 Casita (Scandinavian wood cottage) that could do with some love so if you have carpentry skills, painting, interior design ideas or a good eye for cost effective ways of making a place look better it would be helpful..
I would love some pictures and videos taken so if you have those skills great, and a drone to capture the area would make my day :)
I am looking for someone or a couple who is looking for a minimum of 1 week workaway.
I offer rustic comfy private accommodation with your own kitchen and bathroom. The land is magical and everyone that visits falls in love with the Finca grounds and the area that surrounds it.
I really want to develop my Spanish language and would love to share stories and experiences in both English and Spanish :)
Vegetarian food included..
No help will be asked towards my business which will now start again in May, the projects are personal and for my home and garden only.

I have taught Yoga and many holistic practices for over 20 years so happy to share wisdom and practice. I am a British Indian who likes to cook delicious vegeterian Indian food. I also love being out in nature and would be happy to show you around and go on an adventure too.

I have two types of accommodation twin room in a beautiful Casita with kitchen bathroom , lounge..and a double bedroom in the main house with own bathroom/lounge, kitchen.. So ideal for a couple too - If in the summer then s new renovated private double room with bathroom..

There is good public transport to visit the other stunning areas of Galicia. Close to the property there are forests, walks, rivers and beaches :) Water sporting facilities and much more.. The property faces Portugal with the magical mino between us.

I spent 1,5 week there and I enjoyed it a lot, also becouse I could meet other nice workawayer.
The work was enjoyable: for me was mainly photoshooting and video making, than in the rest of the time keeping the house clean and other simple tasks of gardening.

It was fun sharing experiences together, and he was great with my son. He got the jobs done that I needed him to do in his own time which suited me too. I would recommend Jacob to any host, he is a charming, kind and humble young man.
