Sharing this tremendous heat wave with Remi and Louise was kind of refreshing.
They strongly helped us in the transition to summer mode and all the tasks that come with it (painting, cleaning, pool opening, gardening...).
We also had the opportunity to taste some cakes and crumbles, not to mention their remarkable vegan crepes.
It was a real

Bea and Valerio welcomed us wonderfully for two weeks. We felt like home. The tasks were varied and Valerio made sure they were as fun as possible for us. The place is really beautiful, pleasant and calm. It was ideal for recharging our batteries during our long campervan trip. The swimming pool is also appreciable with the heat. We ate lots of

We had great discussions around the table in addition to enjoying their traditional cooking! We recommend these hosts 200%!

The only bad thing we can say about our experience with Catherine and Ricardo is that it was definitely too short.
Their presence has been a manna from heaven in our little messy world.
Catherine and Ricardo shared more than skills and enthusiasm with us.
We got to know a lot of information about camper life, food and music.
Always discreet,

Good luck for your amazing trip. Hope that our paths will cross again soon

We spent one week at Bea and Valerio's beautiful trulli house. They are great hosts and we felt at home, interacting with their 2 kids, participating in their daily life and sharing great conversations around the table. Vale is a great cook and is passionate about sharing his knowledge of Puglian's cuisine. Unfortunately the weather was not so

We immediately felt at home with Valerio and Bea! We were welcomed with open arms into a superb trulli house with a bedroom and separate bathroom. The work was quiet and varied: preparing a Halloween party, cleaning the house and garden and the traditional olive picking.
All this in a superb region that is worth discovering!
Once again thank you for everything ans stay like that! See you soon in Grenoble! ;)Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

It was a real pleasure to have Marion and Vincent with us for a week. When you leave someone willing to see each other again is a sign that the chemical reaction worked perfectly.
It's like if they already knew what to do. Beyond their availability there's also a real interest in learning and making things easier for you.
We also took the chance

At the beginning we were not convinced to host volunteers now that our newborn took command of the night and the days got a bit more stressful. But Neila and Łukasz joined our family with such a great empathy and cooperation that seemed to have known them for a long time.
Never lost heart in front of the multiple changes of program or the issues
… read more of countryside mobility. Hard worker during the day, harder walkers during the night in order to reach the nearest town (about 5 km). Such an energy contributed a lot to our mood and needs and reminded us of our past experiences on the other side of workaway.
Always compassionate and kind, ready to accurately complete a job even when boring or repetitive, prompt to breath the dust moved by the wind, fearless in front of a 4 years old screaming beast crushing randomly into their room.
We are grateful for everything you did here and we will never forget the huge hand you gave to us. It was a real pleasure to help you visiting the territory that hosts our place. Even more to share with you these two weeks as a multicultural family. We really hope to meet you again!
Heartfelt thanks for showing up here and all the best for your long journey!
Bea, Valerio, Aleida and Talise
PS: Shakira over-listening is the psychometric test we do to our volunteers. It looks like you were successful. Anyway, we won't held responsible under any circumstances for its long term consequences :)

Hard to start a feedback since we wish to treat it as a final thank you before hopefully we meet with Valerio and Bea again! We had the best luck to start our workaway with Valerio, Bea, Aleida and little Talise and stay there for two weeks, which at times felt like two days... First of all, I'd like to thank both of them for being so kind,
… read more welcoming, helping and understanding. Valerio was like our own older brother, making lots of jokes from the first moment, was always mindful of the work given and if it's not too hard on us. He ALWAYS helped us with finding the best path/ way to go to a city and even dropped as at a starting point which was beyond helpful for us... With his and of course Bea's help in the two week span we managed to visit all the cities and more that we wished to see in Puglia. We also got to see the beach and spend time as a part of a family. Bea was wonderful to talk to. There's so much we learned from her, from their own workaway experiences to new ideas in the world that we were not familiar to. Aleida was a fresh big gush of wind, a little human being with a lot of energy - she always kept us entertained! They were very kind to always make meal for us, and they seemed to enjoy it and take it as a welcoming part. In truth, we were welcomed more like guests and equals rather than workers. We received our own little house, which was new, decorated and had its own bathroom, had access to a lot of house ammenities (amazing garden, pool, kitchen, etc.), the work was always varried, almost never repeated which made it not boring and Valerio helped us and did it with us when he could. And to this day we do not know how to repay this kindness. In all honestly this is a wonderful experience and I wouldn't change anything about it (maybe just the part of us being a little bit shy for the first experience haha!). Anyways, for your family we wish a lot of good luck, blessings and maybe a little bit less of Aleida's Shakira (it has followed us up North....) and to visit Eastern Europe and to try real pierogis ! :)Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
