We spent nearly two weeks at Adriane and Rob's place. It's a truly beautiful location, close to many natural areas, parks, and other attractions. While it's possible to bike to the city, a car is more convenient for exploring the area. We visited in November, but summer must be the perfect time to go.
The work schedule and activities were very

In the evenings, we shared dinner together, which allowed us to learn about their stories and adventures. Additionally, we had the opportunity to try some of Ryan's delicious recipes
Nicole and Sebastian were fun, energetic and thoughtful. They fit into our family dynamics easily. Nicole has a wonderful grasp of english, and Sebastian’s greatly improved the two weeks he was here. Both had a wonderful work ethic, easily understanding the tasks that needed to be done. Each day they explored the Comox Valley and area, it was

They participated in the cooking, we enjoyed many delicious homemade desserts and two separate meals they would normally eat in Chile.
Cheers from all the McNabbs

What a fabulous experience and workaway we had with Adrianne, Rob and Jon. Adrianne is the boss :) she is great at communciating tasks and making the day organised so everything runs smoothly. Adrianne, Rob and Jon all had great recommendations, we were fortunate enough for Jon to take us on a guided tour of some of the local watering holes and

The house and living space is luxurious and we felt comfortable from day 1. Dinner time is great, listening to stories from the family and eating some delicious food. I would thouroughly recommend this workaway to anyone considering it.
A great big thank you once again, take care and we will be in contact.

If you have the opportunity to come to this place… DO IT! It’s absolutely lovely and stunning! Adrianne and Rob are very kind and friendly people and you feel right and comfortable immediately (you have a family feeling). The house and the garden: wow. Not a single word can possibly describe the place better. You will learn something about
… read more gardening, the place itself and a lot more. In the near of the home there a many beautiful places (John, the son, showed us some of those): Trent falls, some bowls to swim and jump,.. absolutely stunning.
The work (if you like to help in the garden and also do some building projects) is really good and enjoyable! We really loved our work; we built bridges, took kinda care of the plants (cutting, ripping some out, ..) and painted some things (pillars,…). We miss it already <3Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Adrianne and Rob was the first Workaway host we ever had, and we were already convinced they are one of the best out there. We stayed around for 4 weeks, helping them with taking care of the garden and renovating the deck. Adrianne assigned the daily workload fairly and had been a patient mentor to us, who knew little about gardening and

The accomodation and food were spectacular. We lived in a B&B-standard room, with our standalone washroom and large windows on two sides-we got all the sunlight we needed. And where should I start on the food? Blueberry pancakes, chicken masala, greek salad, banana bread, Jon's home-brewed beers……to name a few among our favourites.
During our stay, we were treated like a part of the family. The host couple was looking for more than a helping hand; they were as eager to tell their stories as hearing ours; wanting us to have the best experience, they drove us to Courtenay, Comox and Airforce Beach during our free time. Indeed, we truly felt like we belonged there by the time for us to leave. And we long to see Adrianne and Rob again in the future.

We spent 2 fabulous weeks with Adrianne, Rob and Jon.
It was a very nice experience, very enriching which allowed us to acquire new skills in gardening. The house and the garden are beautiful, it feels like home. We loved sharing all these moments with them, Adrianne's meals are delicious without forgetting Rob's excellent Greek salad! We worked

We had the afternoons free where Adrianne and Rob were able to show us the beauty of the Comox Valley. We also wanted to thank Jon, for having taken his time to make us discover superb places and good culinary addresses. Thanks again for the French toast! We wish all workaways to be able to have a similar experience!
Thank you again, see you soon in Paris (not in 2024 😉)!

We have been for two weeks with Rob and Adrianne. Rob and Adrianne are kind people, very generous and welcoming. Our stay with them was great. We spent incredible moments of conviviality all together. Our stay with them will remain a great memory of our entire trip to Canada. In addition, their big house is magnificent and their garden too
… read more (Adrianne is very good at gardening😃). And the dishes that Adrianne and Rob cook are very good. We were able to discover the Canadian culture. The house is also well located next to the walking paths near the ocean (5 minutes on foot). Rob and Adrianne were very accommodating and available to take us for a drive and show us the beautiful landscapes of Vancouver Island. Thank you again Rob and Adrianne for the welcome and all these beautiful moments spent together. 💫Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
