Description
Hi, I'm Ale and I teach meditation and with my wife Tissy (psychologist), we are building an permacultural/ yoga retreat here in the Mantiqueira Mountains of Brazil. Working a lot on the last 4 years, almost non-stop to create a place where people could connect with themselves and nature also! We are learning a lot here on our farm and sharing whatever we learn in this process.
We love building with wood. Currently build two geodesic domes, one being a yoga hall, a COB house, and in love in doing green roofs.
We have some trekkings here at our land.
Two little waterfalls and some trees to climb.
Lots of birds to watch and a very silent place.
Join us and help us create this paradise here!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We for sure can share anything that we've learned since staring to work with this land. Restoring the land, water, planting our own food, types of food that people normally don't eat (PANCS).
Also we can recommend great Brazilian music and very good travel ideas for you to see the rest of the country in less conventional way.Aide
In this moment we've just finished the building of our yoga hall.
We're looking for volunteers with specific skills at the moment. Someone that knows how to use power tools, work with wood and/or create furniture/ DIY projects for decoration etc..
We're also looking for professional photographers and videographers to document as much as possible from the process. We love working with creative and committed people.
In June we'll build a COB house to be able to host more volunteer. We'll start on the beginning of the month and hopely finish the whole build by the middle of july.Langues parlées

We provide a room with an amazing hot shower. Mostly a lot of personal space and also a stunning view of the mountains. It's a great place to connect, rest and restore. A lot of our volunteers that have been traveling a lot, highlight that here was a special part of their journey and they could rest, sleep well.
Most of the time we do not have a lot of volunteers (we wish!), so it's possible that for periods of time, you would be with few people here. .:) We have rooms for couples also.
If we have a weekend retreat during your stay and all the rooms are full, we would provide tents for you to stay during those few retreats days.Autres infos...
Some important rules are that we have a veggie space and no alcohol or drugs of any kind are allowed.
We are currently 2h15 away from São Paulo center, and 1h45 away from Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). It's easy to get an UBER directly to our farm (we have some good contacts that we really recommend). Also, it's possible to come by bus, from the city of São José dos Campos to Monteiro Lobato center. From there we can pick you up in the bus station of Monteiro Lobato (20 min from our land).
Generally our volunteers work for 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
We prefer waking up early and working till lunch time.
We'll provide all ingredients for you to take care of your meals.
Let us know if you know good vegan recipes! :)Informations complémentaires
