Hi, it's Eliza here. I grew up in Hungary and moved around quite a bit ever since. For a couple of years, I have lived in Italy where I was working (within university settings) on small, community-based creative projects trying to find ways towards a more sustainable and equitable life. This involved dealing with politics, organising events, doing public interventions or facilitating workshops; but also working with wood, building simple musical instruments or designing together with kids. The last 1,5 years I’ve spent as a workawayer in South America (and doing some seasonal jobs in Europe).
I'm a trained product designer and eco-social designer; and for long, I worked in physical jobs (as a rope access worker, stage rigger, steel-construction worker). But for now, I want to contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from more Earth-bound ways of life.
I admire the beauty and versatile knowledge that plants, animals and ecosystems have. I'd love to take some time to learn about and with them; work with them in a way that also gives back to the Earth what it needs to stay healthy. I'm looking for places to learn about permaculture, food forests, foraging, medical herbs, plant processing, and so on. I'm also excited about all kinds of bio constructions, would love to pick up more carpentry knowledge, working with earth and clay and would love to try the life of a shepherd. I'm eager to learn from all the great people who are happy to host me.
I'm glad to get my hands dirty and get exhausted physically. I really enjoy creating, constructing, caring for any kind of beings, and climbing up on anything. :) I have a little experience in garden work (also grew up in the countryside), some designer skills and a tendency for being detailed, and a colourful collection of work and volunteering experiences . I love to walk, hike and climb, ski tour, go uphill in general; and I’m starting to fall in love with paddling too.Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm good with crafts, wood and ceramics, building stuff, climbing trees and always happy to get my hands dirty. I've volunteered a bit at diverse farms, but I'm still gathering skills in taking care of plants and animals.
Besides my university and design projects and rigging jobs, I also worked as a babysitter, a bartender, a tourist guide, and a climbing instructor in a children's camp; and volunteered as an auxiliary cave guide for movement therapy for disabled children.Âge
