Help with eco building projects and mud house in Pichilemu, Chile

  Description

  Hi thanks for reading! we are 3 woman friends Piska, Lolo and Clau, hosting for ecobuilding proyects, we met traveling and in Pichilemu and we had the chance to buy an amazing piece of land with other 6 more families and neighbours that also have their own land.
  
  Claudia has already begun her mud house building project 3 years ago with the most sustainable way we can, with mud from the land, bottle work and lots of good energy and hands that have helped through volunteering and workshops.
  
  We are 3 woman friends, 1 girl Munay, 3 dogs (Charlie, Rita and Masala) and 1 cat who are family.

  This is a project where we will learn a lot, we have put our hearts into it, has taken lots of energy, so please come with the best attitude to help and become family during your stay and we take care for each other. We are going to make lots of mud, understanding the concepts of building naturally, doing bottle work, creating spaces for veggie gardens, permaculture workshops, enjoy nature, and spend quality time together. We are a family so that's the vibe we offer. We love to play music around the fire. If you know about plants, trees, etc is super welcome.
  
  You can practice your Spanish, you will meet a lot of awesome people. In your free time, you can go surfing (15 kms from the land, ideally if you have a car or when we go you can join). We are 1km from the river, nice for a walk, great for swimming, it’s a mix of salty and sweet water so attracts lots of different birds, great for contemplating and bird watching. is very quite to sleep so is great for a good nights rest, also we have hammocks just to have good chilling time.

  Aide

  We need people who want to put their hands and feet in the mud! And also many proyects are starting for building Piska and Lolo house so carpenters always welcome. People that like to be full of mud, doing art, helping build a veggie garden and planting seeds.
  
  We can all be teachers in one area and apprentices in another, so that's the idea! that we can all be a contribution to each other and learn from each other.
  
  Claudia has begun her house, she has been hosting for the last 2 years, so there is still lots of help to be done, mostly mud making, bottle work, coloring walls with mud, super fun, we have lots of good time.
  
  Piska ad Lolo have begun building there places so we are in need of carpenters, people that knows how to work with electric tools, manages well creating furniture is a plus.

  Hébergement

  We have different options...
  
  A 4mt diameter bell tent that can fit around 4 people in sleeping bags. Lot's of space to put your own tent, motorhome, etc. Ideally if you have sleeping bag. We have extra bedding to keep you warm, and some mattresses. And also we have some extra tents. The best sleeping place for its quietness, so you can hear sometimes foxes and owls at night, and wake up with lots of singing birds.
  
  Piska`s house is 10 kms from the land, the yard has lots of space to put your own tent, motorhome, etc. Ideally you have your own car.
  
  There is a couple of roots style (drytoilet) and hot shower with gas and also we heat up a big pot and have the best outdoor shower looking into the trees, after we have been playing with the mud. There is usually sun in the days and gets colder at nights. Also come prepare with working clothes (we have also extra from the same volunteers that leaves there muddy ones and we clean them after) working gloves, suncream, hat, lintern and moskito repellent (there are not much but better you have)
  
  Will be include Buffet Breakfast (oats, fruits, tea, coffee, mate, sometimes we make bread, jam) and delicious abundant Vegetarian Lunch. Dinner will be shared by all of us, so please bring your own food to share with others, bring things for you that makes you happy like chocolate or cheese. We all share preparing meals, and cleaning common spaces, its your home aswell while you are here. Wine is always welcome! There are no shops close by, so come with all your treats for your own comfort. We have a cob oven we can start the fire in, and is great for making lots of yummy bread, pizzas, and roasted veggies. So you can be creative, aswell as fire for cooking. We like to share and sit around the fire, musicians always welcome, ideally not late parties as we work hard the next day and we need energy.

  There is plenty of things that you can do in your free time... going surfing, swiming, hiking, do yoga in the deck, or terrace, hang out in the hammock just chilling out, is very silent place to just enjoy quiet time and also we are good neighborhood, very safe and fun. There is a public transport to the crossing of the land 3 times a day, and then 2 kms walking in a nice small road. Hitching works very good. We can always arrange taking you to Cahuil the most closest little cute town and from there you have colectivo (shared taxi) to Pichilemu town, restaurants, cafe places and little shops to get your groceries.
