Having Isaac and Grace with us was like having a nephew and a niece in our “family”. I really appreciated their will to do. They worked in the garden and removed all the wild grass, it was really hot in some days but they were not afraid of working in the heat. They also love animals so it was wonderful that our pets had attention while we were
… read more away at work.They brought cheerfulnees and joy in the house, I really loved to listen to them laughing and having fun while working. They are very clever and interested at history and culture so It was a real pleasure to talk with them about different topics. Now we have our “classics” that made us laughing and I will smile all the time I will think about these memories (“Taormina song”, “I have an offer that you cannot refuse”, “hey, are you talking to me?”). I hope that they will come to visit us again and wish them the best for their life.

We spent the most amazing couple of weeks in Adrano with Annalisa and Carlo! We were immediately drawn into their daily life, working and eating and spending time together. Annalisa knows sooooo much about Sicilian history, and it was so much fun to just talk with her and learn so much about the area, from Mount Etna to the surrounding cities and
… read more towns with such rich cultural histories. we were so lucky that etna erupted while we were there, and we could watch her from our room!!! they cooked the most delicious meals, and we had soo much granita together. We also had so much fun playing with Dora the Destroyer, Toby and Mio! they showed us taormina,
siracusa, etna, and a beautiful river where they walk dora and toby. Our time in Sicily was too short, and we will definitely come back to see more sicilian sunsets from their terrace and listen to Carlo’s band! TIziano stayed with us more then 1 month. We had a nice experience with him. He is really respectful and he helped a lot in the garden and in the house. As he wrote on his profile he can really " fix everything"! What I appreciated more is that he can really manage tasks on his own and often he can also suggest useful solutions.

I have been very happy to have Anthony and Nina in our house. They are very nice and well educated persons. Once I explained what I wanted to do in the garden, they have been able to manage the work on their own and they did a very good job! We also spent time together and they have been part of the family for one month, cooking also some nice
… read more dishes for us and helping in the house. I really appreciated Anthony 's help with our old dog in a very difficult moment for us. Thanks again.
I really reccomend Anthony and NIna to other hosts, you will miss them once they will leave.

Our stay at Annalisa and Carlos place was simply amazing!
We worked in the garden all week - we digged the whole place over, cleaned the beds, cut weeds, took two trees down and just did normal gardening work.

… read more still had Carlo to hang out and make music with, which was really nice. As soon as Annalisa was free, she took us on little tours around Adrano and showed us many magical places. We also did a tour around the Etna, which we really enjoyed.
We also had our own little room and bathroom.
We will really miss you two and we hope to see eachother again soon. We will also miss Toby and Ralfi a lot...and Emanuele's long stories...and the beautiful view from the terrace!

I suggest Gaetano and Martina as workaways 'cause they are very kind and collaboratives. Curious and interested at many things. They also helped in cooking and I discovered new recipies. We spent quality time getting to know authentic Sicilian lifestyle and discovering hidden gems in the area. It was stimulating to help her with gardening and housekeeping, with her two sweet dogs always looking for a cuddle. The staying period was such an enrichment for all of us.
