Hi world! I am a young person from the UK, but have lives most my life in Switzerland. I grew up in a very adventurous household, and therefore travelling and leaving my comfort zone was engrained heavily into my upbringing. Now, I find most of my happiness and motivation in the excitement and curiosity that comes with trying new things. This lead me to attend UWC Atlantic College for my high school years. This is a school with a mission to unite the youth from all over the world with a shared passion for global change. This environment allowed me to socialise and understand people of over 100 nationalities, and has made me so curious to experience other cultures more and more. Aside from travelling, I have many other passions: I play many instruments, including guitar and drums; hiking and trail running; computer science; cooking (I was head chef at a student lead non-profit restaurant for 2 years); and many more! I look forward to meeting as many people as possible through this incredible platform!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Firstly, I have lots of experience with gardening and DIY. Rather unconventionally, I spent many years being homeschooled through online platforms, this influences me to pursue lots of jobs in my local neighbourhood as a gardener and other domestic jobs. I also took this time to work on my own DIY and construction skills, building tables and chairs for example in my garage workshop.
Second, I have lots of experience with animal and child-care. My animal care experience comes from both having my own pets, but also lots of work as a dog-walker and pet-sitter for many families in my local community. In Switzerland, I am a member of the Swiss scouts, for which I am now a leader. This gives me lots of regular experience in organising and managing day-long activities for kids aged 6-16.
Third, I have lots of experience with cooking and restaurant work. At UWC Atlantic College, I was head chef(meaning the manager of kitchen operations) for a student-led non profit restaurant. We would serve roughly 100-150 students every Saturday night and give all of our earnings to charity to combat education poverty.
In general, I am a fit and skillful young person and am open to learning as many skills as possible.
