Hi, I'm Aiden!
I'm originally from the USA, and I've traveled all around the US, I drove across the entire country! Currently, I work as a groom, taking care of and riding horses for the master of Taupo hunt in New Zealand. My next country will be Australia, sometime in September.
I love all things outdoors, and I've worked with horses all my life. I have some college and practical experience with livestock, and want to learn more about managing land.
I've also worked a lot with kids, teaching riding lessons, and leading trail rides. I have experience with kids with ADHD and learning disabilities, as well.
Anything to do with animals, I'll enjoy. I've done a lot of pet and farm sitting! I also have volunteer experience with a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians in the US (and some invasive ones!).
When I'm not working, I love hiking, and finding the best swimming spots. I definitely prefer the mountains over the beach, but as long as I'm outside, I'm happy!
I also enjoy gardening, photography, art, and I could spend all day listening to music (although I don't know how to play any instruments, sorry!). I've been getting into DIY-ing my clothes, and learning how to sew and embroider more.
There are lots of things I'd love to learn more about, including carpentry and working on machinery. I'm great at following directions, and problem solving!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I know a lot about training, riding, and caring for horses! I've worked as a working student for multiple years, as a groom for FEI level eventing horses, and as a trail guide in the backcountry in the US.
I've driven Percheron pairs, evented, led pack mule strings, learned Parelli, and, most recently, hare hunted in NZ.
Working with horses makes you a natural fixer and DIYer, since they're always breaking things!
I've also worked at a few summer camps and taught a lot of kids to ride over the years.
I'm also wilderness first aid trained :)
