Hi, my name is Yasmin, I’m 18 years old and I just graduated from high school this summer. I live in Cologne, Germany, and I’ve decided to take a year after school to travel and experience different cultures. I would describe myself as a very creative and open-minded person. I love playing piano, reading, baking and cycling, especially when it takes me to new places. I'm really looking forward to meet a lot of new people while traveling:)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I come from a big family with many children, so I’ve always been used to looking after kids. I’ve also had several babysitting jobs in Germany and worked as a dog sitter. I’ve had cats and hamsters myself, so I’m very comfortable around animals and really enjoy spending time with them. I love cooking and baking, and I’ve also worked as a waitress, which gave me good teamwork and service experience. I also enjoy gardening and often helped my grandparents with it. I know the basics like mowing the lawn and I like this kind of outdoor work. I have also given tutoring lessons to children in subjects like Math, English, and German.

We are incredibly blessed to have been able to host Yasmin not once but twice during her short travel adventure in Canada. She first stayed with us for a month in October and helped us prepare for an Art Crawl event as well as property maintenance, gardening, and cleaning around the house.
