I am a happy girl with a vision and the will power to achieve it.

knowing that everything is possible and happiness is a choice is what motivates me to wakeup every morning and start my day. Moving to Canada and study there is a dream coming true in every sense of the word. I envisioned this moment few years ago and I worked very hard for it and now I am living the dream.

I came to this website not only to find accommodation, but also to meet new friends who will be my family away from home. Sharing a place with someone, having a meal together and helping each other out would help me to form meaningful friendships that can last a lifetime, therefore, I am very excited to meet my new friends and family in Canada.

I am very fond of languages and I enjoy learning new languages or practicing the ones I learned. I also love teaching languages which I did both in person and online. I taught English in person to absolute beginners in Baghdad and taught Arabic online to non-Arabic speakers.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a wide range of skills and abilities which includes but not limited to:

1- House keeping: I can do light cleaning, vacuuming, tidying up and organizing. I am a very organized, neat and clean person.

2- Cooking: I am a very good cook and I can make western breakfast, lunch and dinner and some deserts. I can also make some amazing middle eastern dishes if you are interested. Oh and I can also make sushi ! Yum !

3- Gardens: I can do and enjoy light garden work like weeding, planting, watering and trimming etc.

4- I can do some home maintenance work and even some electrical work, I was raised with 3 brothers so I am used to all sorts of house work like fixing and changing electrical sockets, changing appliances' plugs, changing light bulbs, fixing jammed doors and keys, fixing Satellite TVs and many others.

5- Computer skills: I have a technical aptitude and I can help you with whatever your computer problem is. I can also help with printers, scanners, digital cameras etc.

6- I am very good with social media and have a natural talent in photography (which I plan to sharpen even further with official courses).

7- I enjoy the company of elderly people and I would love to have meaningful and fun conversations with them and take them out for a walk in the park or at the mall.

8- I adore young children as they remind me of my two nieces and baby nephew and I am skilled in caring for them.

I also would like to say that I am a fast learner who thinks on her feet and I can always find a way to help you out.

One last thing ! I am a general dentist in my home country so I can give you tips and advices on oral health and dental work and maybe offer you some free dental work when I get my dental license in Canada ;)

I am an adventurous girl with a deep love for travel, exploring new places and cultures and trying new things. I have lived for 3 years in New Zealand and visited many countries like Jordan, Turkiye, Lebanon and Syria.

Reading is a hobby that I picked up from a very young age thanks to my dad who always encouraged me to read and in different languages. Reading was and still gives me positive feelings, relaxes me and simply transports me to a different world. I enjoy many genres from Tolkien fantasy to personal growth books to absolute classics like Emily Bronte's Wutherings Heights and Agatha Christie's Sparkling Cyanide.

I also love hiking, photography, swimming, working out and walking in nature.
