Description
I am a very active and enterprising man (manager for safety, health and quality in an international group) who is very close to nature and has a big heart for animals.
My wife has a biologically appropriate diet (BARF) for dogs and cats. When I have time, I help my wife with everything in the store.
I worked in agriculture (animal and plant production) many years ago and finished my studies in agronomy.
Through my past and current activities, I have developed a great connection with nature and a feel for dogs and cats.
I have 2 beautiful dogs (French bulldog) and 1 dear cat.

My stay at Jean and Clover was fabulous. They have a beautiful house on a wonderful property on Prince Edward Island (in between the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and the Northumberland Strait).

Uwe was an amazing Workawayer. He provided invaluable assistance with my Chocolate Labrador Retriever (Clover). Uwe provided advice on Clover's behaviour (when Clover would take things to chew), exercise (Uwe would take Clover out for long walks as well as for short walks to do his business) and helped when I had to give medical treatment to… read more

He most definitely is a very hard worker, (often unstoppable), arrived very well-prepared to work on a ranch, and discreet with regard to our privacy. He helped in weedwhacking, removing weeds and thistles, prepping and painting our gate. He was also kind to our animals. As a bonus, he brought… read more

It was my first trip to New Zealand and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised.
The work was not hard, it was focussed on taking care of the beautiful gardens and working with the animals of the farm.

Uwe was booked in here approx 6 month in advance because his profile sounded exactly what I needed. He didn't disappoint in any aspect.
He is extremely responsible I was able to leave everything to him without having to give it a second thought. It is great to be able to have someone to depend on with the animals - do my thinking for me.
