Its a rural environment and we are in the middle of winter which could be a good experience.
There are activities in the local area (line dancing or yoga) where the workawayer can take participate.
Aide
The primary objective of hosting a Workawayer is to help provide assistance with my chocolate Labrador Retriever some cooking (if possible) and some general house tasks.

I'm currently staying in a small cottage in a rural area. It is approximately 20 km to the closest city. The Workawayer will have a bedroom and shared bath during their stay. Regarding food, I love to cook and everyone will be well looked after. Workawayers can prepare their own food if they prefer.

For a change of scenery, there is a large athletic complex close by in Summerside, where there is a huge indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Also, there is skating and cross-country skiing.

Cheng was an absolutely fabulous worker. He tackled anything that needed to be done around the house and especially outside in my gardens and my flower beds. Apart from being an excellent worker, he is also an excellent cook and provided me with lots of tips. I would have checked back anytime.

Chris is a really nice person and it was great to host him in April 2025. Chris comes with Cleo (a cat) that made the situation a bit complicated and he has his own working hours, which I found different, but we managed to sort it. Being invited to stay with Jean was by far the best experience on Workaway I've had. She made sure that everything was just right and provided a comfortable room, very good food and plenty of trips out to see the local sights and to visit shopping malls when needed.
