My stay was wonderfull.
Jean is a phenomal host, she showed me a lot of places across the island and can tell so many things about the history like Anna Green gables. Roxanne is an amazing woman! She did an excellent job at everything she undertook and completed. The thing I really appreciated the most was that I did not need to show Roxanne what needed to be done. Everything at Jean's was as advertised and more, there are no surprises here with the exception of how beautiful the setting is, pictures don't do it justice. The house is clean and quiet, after a month in St John's in the hostel it was a paradise for me.
Jean is exceptionally welcoming and good company, her cooking is restaurant quality and she
… read more is generous with the portions. The hours worked were always fair, the tasks were both inside and outside the house which suited me just fine.
Jean appreciates your input and is flexible about what needs to be done and when, with the exception of Clover's walks. He is a lovable and stubborn doggo who needs a firm hand and lot's of affection. Everyone in the village knows him.
The village is seaside and quaint, like a setting for a movie, the real PEI experience. A town is just a short distance walk away.
I lived well at Jean's, I felt like I was among friends and I would highly recommend her to anyone lucky enough to be invited to her home.
Thanks for everything Jean.
Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Anton)
Anton was a joy to be around. He was always in an upbeat mood and ready to smile. I loved how he took such good care of my chocolate Labrador Retriever (Clover). Welcome back anytime.

I absolutely loved my stay at Jeans house on PEI. These two weeks went by way too quickly. Besides that, we had lots of road trips where Jean showed me around the island and told me about local history, politics and nature, which I really appreciated. She also introduced me to lots of her friends and the local culture. Accommodation was very cozy and clean. Jean, Clover and I had a great time. This place leaves nothing to be desired! I already miss both of them, wish them all the best for the future, and would love to come back some time. Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

I stayed with Jean for only one week (I would have loved to stay much longer, but already had another workaway lined up right after). Jean is the kindest woman you'll ever meet, if you get a chance to stay at Jean's, you will have the best workaway stay possible. I loved helping Jean with her dog Clover, who is the sweetest and nicest labrador

Jean was so kind and has told me so much about the island, she took me to a theater/ concert show, showed me the local beach, took me to Charlottetown,... I felt like part of the family and her house immediately felt like home. Her house is absolutely stunning and always clean and you'll get the chance to meet many of her interesting (B&B) guests. One of the local beaches is in walking distance, so after I was finished in the garden, I was able to go swimming. I hope I am able to come back to Jean's place again.
Jean and Clover, thank you for everything, I couldn't have had a better stay!

I spent 4 weeks with Jean and Clover, I sincerely loved my stay and I highly recommend you to go and meet them ! Maeva arrived on Prince Edward Island, just as winter was ending and spring was starting to be a reality. The cooler weather did not affect Maeva at all. I give these two women a five-star rating. Joy and Selina were at my house on Prince Edward Island in October, 2022. I spent 3 weeks working in Jean's perennial flower beds in the most beautiful place on PEI! The air is fresh, the views breathtaking and the work rewarding. I cannot remember ever feeling so well. From the first moment they gave me the feeling of being welcome and to be a part of their family. The food was great and we had a marvellous time together.

I cannot help smiling every time I think back and I hope to be coming back as soon as possible.
I really mis Jean and Clover as well as my life on the island.Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Uwe)
Uwe was an amazing Workawayer. He provided invaluable assistance with my Chocolate Labrador Retriever (Clover).
