Description

After a busy sea kayak/zodiac season on the west coast of Canada I am looking forward to spent one month in Ecuador. To enhance my Spanish skills I will be taking a language course in the first week of my journey in Olon.
To become more immersed in Ecuador I would like to stay with locals. In return I can help with pretty much anything requiring hands on. I am capable of working independent but also interested in learning new techniques and building materials.

Paddle Canada certified sea kayak/canoe instructor.
Zodiac skipper, SVOP (small vessel operator proficiency)
Gardner by trade, learned in a tree nursery, other landscaping.
Ship mechanic by trade, navigation and engine maintenance.
Artisan carpenter, enjoy working with hands and natural materials.

I love the outdoors. I always like to learn new things and meet new people. I am happily married and have three grown up kids. I play a Djembe drum and enjoy jamming.
