Currently searching for a new destination for November 2026. Thinking Oceania, boat trip anywhere or boat trip in the Amazon.
To become more immersed I would like to stay with locals. In return I can help with pretty much anything requiring hands on. I am capable of working independent but also interested in learning new techniques and building materials.

I have done many things in my life (60 years), the 8 days I spent with the uchuculin community are life changing for me. Every day was full of learning about the natural environment and the people I was with. I spent one week at Casa de la manta and had a wonderful time. The room I stayed in is a hotel room with kitchen and a fantastic view. The lunches provided by Mercedes were delicious. The closest market is only 15 min by foot.
