Currently in Koh Samet, Thailand. We'll be travelling to Chang Mai, Thailand on 11th February.

Description

I’m Tom, I’m great with people, socially skilled and organised, with confidence speaking and performing in front of large groups. I've worked in numerous places - driving tractors on a farm, McDonalds, fashion retail, bar & restaurant.

I've also participated in Erasmus programs supporting the elderly in Spain, Italy and Germany. In past Workaways we’ve helped on a farm, used tools and learned about self sufficiency. We have also volunteered in schools in Cambodia and Thailand teaching English to children.

I'm hoping for a hostel where I can stay longer-term, immerse in the area and get to know it well enough to offer authentic local tips. We’re both really excited to meet people from all walks of life, create long lasting memories for them and make their stays unforgettable.

Interpersonal skills: we've worked in a variety of environments with people from different walks of life, and made relationships equally.

Adaptability: adjusted with seasonal changes (on farm) taking on different tasks as needed.

Customer service: trained to work around customers, with high levels of patience and professionalism.

Organisation: managed tasks and schedules during volunteering, planned lessons and activities with elderly.
