Hola!

I am Tjaša (pronounced Tyasha), Slovenian volunteer, currently travelling in Peru.

I have been volunteering in the past and visited, met and helped a lot of hosts in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Argentina, Chile and got amazing experiences. With many still keeping in touch. My chores were diverse. I looked after different animals, a lot of property maintenance, weeding and taking care of veggie gardens, helping with the kids, different house chores, laying out the roof insulation, making mud bricks, and list goes on 😀

Now something about me. I have 41 years, but still young at heart and love to travel, meet heartful people, help, exchange knowledge and have great conversations. I am quite organized person, love animals, and I would say handy as well, as I grew up in the countryside in a small village. So I am used to an outdoor work and different tasks.

My mother language in Slovene, English is my second in which I am fluent. And with basic knowledge of German and Spanish.

In the future I would like to build my own house (from as much of natural materials as possible).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am great working with animals, weedenig, property maintance. Also helped families with the kids and different physical work (as puting the roof insulation, making mud bricks,....).
Good cleaner and organizer.
I am able to learn new tasks very quickly. Example: digging a small trench with the excavator in Canada :)

As workaway hosts we could not have had a better experience than the time we spent with Tjaša. She has all the qualities we like, as noted above in the evaluation and she is just a pleasure to spend time with whether stacking firewood or helping in the kitchen. Our only regret was that she could not have stayed longer!

I had a nice time at Juan's place. He is kind and welcomed me during Christmas holidays.
I helped him with painting and fixing things around the flat. Also learned a lot of tricks. He is a real MacGyver :).

Tjasa was at my house for few days. She's a good person, friendly, talkative, and with common sense who can help with household chores, always willing to help in some activity or repair. I strongly reccomend to receive her.
