Hello, my name is Andy and I am a middle-aged American male looking to expand his horizons and connect with my European roots. Having spent my entire life in the US, I am now looking forward to the next chapter whatever that may bring.

I grew up in the countryside on a small Farmette in southern Wisconsin with my four siblings and wonderful parents. My mother was an artist and wildlife rehabilitator, while my father worked as an engineer for the University of Wisconsin. Using both sides of our brains was requisite.

Eventually, I went off to college to get a degree in Biology but switched to IT and have spent my working career as an IT consultant. That may have been my vocation, but I am a creative at heart! I enjoy working with my hands fixing things, drawing, painting, photagraphy, etc.

I am happiest and/or fulfilled when I know I've created something unique or helped in a way that contributes toward something meaningful like helping the planet or our animal kindred.

Most recently I attending the University of Leicester for Archaeology and love to hunt for Antiques, etc. as I've been buying and selling online for the past 25 years. I am now ready to see the world, share my experience and contribute something substantial in my own way while enjoying the company of like minded people!

Off and on for the last 25 years I've mainly worked as an IT Consultant, so am quite comfortable around technology. I've also done my share of menial tasks and am not averse to getting my hands dirty. Also, for what it's worth, I have some life experience being 56 years of age.
