Hello! I am Thomas, from Houston, Texas, USA.

Currently living in Vietnam and preparing to do English teaching here.
I was raised by Viet parents but my speaking has slowly gotten worse over the years. A big goal of mine while I am in Vietnam is to get much better at Vietnamese! For no real reason, just because it'd be fun.

I've spent most of my adult life as a working muralist/artist in Houston. It has kept me sedentary so I crave adventure/different experiences. I've done several workaway-type things the past 4-5 years and have loved it. The moments I cherish most are the connections I make with the people I meet in all these different places.

-my main work is as a freelance artist (mural, digital, drawing, teacher)

-Small knack for repair and construction (I have more of an engineer's mind, but I'm definitely not an engineer)
-Childcare (5-10 yrs old, autistic)
-Can cook for myself, not the most confident cooking for others.
-I enjoy manual labor and I'm pretty quick to learn how to do things I think.

I enjoyed my stay at the temple. 3 weeks. Lots to do. Was always fed. Made use of the 4 days/week of yoga. I helped prepare for the Holi Festival they were hosting at the temple.
