Hi, I’m 19 years old, I just finished High-school and I decided to take a gap year before starting my studies because I love travelling.

Backpacking in New-Zealand has been my dream since I was 12 years old. My parents and my older siblings lived in New-Zealand for 2 years before I was born, therefore I heard about it my whole life. Now it’s my time to experience the Kiwi life and I’m super excited !

I have had the chance to go on wonderful trips in my life such as Salvador in Brazil for my cousin's wedding, Chicago in the United States as an exchange student, Djerba in Tunisia with my friend's family, Tokyo in Japan to visit my brother during his own gap year or more recently in Hanover in Germany as a European Volunteer in a kindergarten.
Discovering new cultures, meeting new people and experiencing the full immersion that travelling brings is my cup of tea.

I have different types of working experiences like babysitting, working in summer camps as an activity leader, cleaning and prepping my mum's Airbnb before travelers arrive or organizing an entire office during the European summer months. I like to be helpful and I am always willing to learn to do new things !

I was in a French-German bilingual program until I was 15. Then I kept up with a specific program in Advanced German and English in high-school. I love learning new languages, and I am willing to improve my english knowledge during this gap year ! I will always be enthusiastic to share my french culture and a bit of my german knowledge =)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have my youth work degree so my first job was being an activity leader in a summer camp in France. I worked with foster kids who were between 6 and 10 years old and have organized several activities with my colleagues. I took care of the children to try to make them live two unforgettable weeks, and I think it worked =)

I also volunteered in a French kids nursery in Germany for 4 months at the end of 2023 with the "European solidarity corps" program. I lead a 3 activitie project to make the toddlers discovering 3 senses in 3 experiences and they really enjoyed it.
I loved taking care of them and accompany them in their life of discovering !

My mom owns an AirBnB appartement in France and I sometimes took care of prepping it such as cleaning it and making the beds, welcoming the guests and informing them about everything they needed to know about the city.

I have always been practicing a sport and I did a little bit of surfing and Boxing and I simply loved it !
I really like manual labor such as scrap booking, DIY, and painting.

I'm doing this gap year to learn more about myself and I'll always be enthusiastic about testing and learning new things.
