Hello! My name is Marta and I’m a 24-year-old historian and cultural manager from Menorca, Spain. I’m passionate about history, anthropology, and discovering new perspectives to better understand the world around me. I love learning continuously and sharing knowledge through cultural projects, community activities, and meaningful exchanges.

I consider myself a responsible, organized, and curious person. I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and I always bring a positive and adaptable attitude. Thanks to my academic and professional background, I’m very interested in cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, and community engagement.

In my free time, I like reading, visiting museums, and learning new languages (I currently speak Spanish, Catalan, Italian, English, and I’m learning French). I also would like to volunteer and take part in projects that connect people, culture, and creativity.

I’m looking forward to contributing to new environments, learning from hosts and other volunteers, and exchanging skills and experiences while discovering different ways of life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in different areas that have helped me develop strong communication and organizational skills. I have been a bartender/waitress, a cashier in a supermarket, a tourist information assistant, and also an English teacher for young children. These jobs taught me how to be responsible, adaptable, and comfortable working with people of all ages.

I studied History and Cultural Management, and I recently completed my Master’s thesis about the sustainable management of Menorca Talaiòtica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This experience gave me the chance to develop research skills, as well as to design cultural activities such as guided tours, workshops, and educational projects.

I also have experience working in teams and coordinating small projects, always with a focus on creativity, responsibility, and cultural exchange. In addition, I enjoy sharing languages (I speak Spanish and Catalan as native languages, have a B1 level of Italian, and I’m currently learning French).

Beyond my academic background, I am happy to help with general tasks such as gardening, cleaning, cooking, or assisting in community and hospitality projects. I am flexible, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute wherever I am needed.
