hello there!

I am Natasha, a curious and enthusiastic slow traveler from Switzerland. After my studies in Performing Arts back home, I am now on an extended surf trip around the world.
I love workaway because it is a nice way to get to know a place and its people while doing something useful with my time, immersing myself in the local culture and environment. With positivity and a lot of motivation I am keen to work and help out with whatever is needed at your place!

As a professional performer and certified Yoga Instructor (200hrs Hatha/Ashtanga), I love working with people and movement. I am a quick learner, adapting easily to new environments and tasks. As an autonomous team-player with a strong sense of responsibility I like to take up new challenges and am always keen on learning new things, expanding my knowledge and comfort-zone.

On a volunteer basis I have been active in different long-term projects including forest, farm and garden work, eco-building. I have taught Yoga in different hostels, as well as taking up the role of social host often, enjoying mindfulness and socialising in balance. As a keen surfer I am looking to be close to the sea and a surf break, being able to chase waves in my free time.

I have work experience in office-related roles (Marketing and Project Assistant, Customer Service) and as a waitress in cafés and restaurants.

I call myself a competent and efficient all-rounder, with a friendly, easy-going attitude. I love to share my energy with a community - based on mutual respect and open communication. Looking forward to collaborating with you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Movement is my world - professional dancer, performer and a certified Yoga Instructor.
Therefore I’m physically fit and able to do quite demanding tasks, carry fairly heavy stuff and have no problem getting sweaty.

I've worked on a hobby farm for a few weeks, helping with the animals and produce harvesting, preserving food and general maintenance. I've also done a eco-building workshop and have used different tools here and there. However, would be very keen to expand my building and carpentry knowledge. Currently I am building out my own van and it's been a steep learning curve from the start ;-)

I’m good with people, having guided theatre and dance workshops with kids and adults from different backgrounds as a volunteer for Clowns without Borders Switzerland.

I would describe myself as a tidy person, who appreciates cleaning and organising, taking care of a home space, doing office-related tasks, helping out with the admin of a place, I know how to use a computer and most Microsoft/Mac programs

I can drive a car, also vans, and scooter. I have cooked delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes over a few weeks for a smaller group in the mountains on a fire stove. There are also a few languages I speak fluently and would be able to teach or share with people.

Most important, I’m a quick learner, adaptable, independent, responsible and trustworthy.
